The cemetery located at Campbell's Creek is on the south side of the Port au Port peninsula. It looks across the Bay of St. George in the direction of Flat Bay and Sandy Point. Thre is the old foundaion of a church or other large building next to the cemetery on the right hand side. The one thing you notice in the cemetery, it is dominated by single white crosses, many of which have no name on them or only a Christian or Surname. (Cyril DuBourdieu - May 19, 1999)

NOTE: The foundation mentioned above was, in fact, a wonderful community center. It was a wooden 2 Story structure with a full sun porch with wrap around windows on the front. It was, indeed, located to the right of the cemetery. Some 50 years ago the cemetery was small and had very few unkept graves.
