Ships and Sealing Crews
Note when searching for ship crews or sealing crews. Most reports after 1846 or so contain lists of ships and their crew listed under towns in the St. John's-Ferryland district. In most reports, you will find ships listed under St. John's and Quidi Vidi. These 2 are the most common towns in which to find ship and sealers listings, however there are other towns, including Petty Harbour, which occasionally include lists.
