Ochre Pit Cove

Ochre Pit Cove
1910

Another picture taken by my father in 1919. The old house was the one
in which most of my grandparents' family was born. It was probably built
by George Halfyard before he moved to Bonne Bay in 1874. My grandfather
bought the property from George then. The family moved into a new house
pre 1910. At the time the photo was taken it was being used as a barn.
