Patrick Isaac Burke The attached photograph is my Great Grandfather, Patrick Isaac Burke, known as "Big Pat". He was born in St. Jacques, Fortune Bay, in August 1849, and died in Sydney, Nova Scotia, September 30, 1930. He married Alice Mullowney and they had eight children, all born in St. Jacques. Big Pat was a ship's captain and a carpenter. He was the son of Patrick Burke, 1820-1884, and the Grandson of Patrick Burke, 1792-1860. Contributed by Paul Burke
