St. John's East District

St. John's 1902 Governor Cavendish Boyle at the Anglican Cathedral in St. John's, 1902. My great grandfather Samuel George Carnell Collier and the governor appear to be in conversation with each other. I don't know the symbolism of the scarf worn by Sam or the gentleman next to him. Masonic?? Church? This was before he was a city councillor At this time Sam was a wheelwright. Contributed by Geoff Martin 2006 03
