Cod Roy

The photo on the left is Emma Jane Kendall (my great grandmother), born in Cod Roy Newfoundland,
in 1892 or 1891. She died Jan, 20 1977. The middle photo is Sam Kendell, believed to be her
father (a fisherman). The photo on the right is believed to be her mother.
My gram is Clarissa Tutty, Emma's Daughter.

Sam Kendell was born 1848 and died Nov. 2, 1911. He disappeared in the woods and his body was
never recovered.  He is my (Barbara Kendell's) Great Grandfather Mark's brother. Their father is also
Samuel Kendell born 1821-1903 and their mother was Ann (Donavan) Kendle. There were 16 children
in all. Their Grandfather was John Kendall born about 1785 and Grandmother was Susanna born
about 1790. (there were 7 children).  Their Great Grandfather was also a John Kendall born about
1760 in Cul de Sac. Wife ??. They had 8 children.  Their Great Great Great Grandfather may
have been a John as well (?), and had two children, the Great Grandfather John (above),
born 1760, and his sister Grace, who married a William Lee, and had 11 children.
