Riverdale
(formerly known as Lower Gullies)

Formerly known as Lower Gullies, in 1992 Riverdale was included in the town of Conception Bay South. The area lying between Kelligrews and Upper Gullies was formally renamed Riverdale in 1923, but the name never really caught on, the area coming to be regarded as part of the community of Kelligrews. In 1992 the name Riverdale still appeared on most maps issued by the Province, but had passed out of common use except for the names of several businesses (which were regarded locally as being located in Kelligrews).
