Roche I have found in Canada is Bishop Edward Patrick Roche, born in

John, who died very young. John's father was Edward so I am assuming the
bishop's father was Edward. I would really like to know more about this
family - who the mother was - who first came from Ireland -were there more
siblings or aunts and uncles. The Roche family I am connected to came from the village of Ballindangan, Poor Law Union of Mitchelstown, civil parish of Ballydeloughy, and Catholic parish of Glanworth in Co. Cork. My information on the
Newfoundland family is very limited. My information on the family in Ireland is extensive.Thank you.

Researcher: Trish Ryan-Hofmann - nfgenes@yahoo.com

Description: Mary Cecelia Ryan nee Gorman born August 24, 1897 in NF, died in Boston, MA USA on March 25, 1917 a short time after her son Walter Wilson Ryan was born on Feb. 20, 1917. Her husband was Thomas Ryan, my grandfather, from Conception Harbour 1892-1977.
Mary Cecelia Ryan's death certificate states she died in Boston and was burried in Harbour Main, NF. But I'm having a very difficult time locating her grave site. Her son was born in Boston, but as the story is told, was sent to live with Mary Ryan nee Cole his grandmother in NF, after the death of his mother Mary C. He is also suppose to be burried in NF, most likely Conception Harbour most likely beside his mother Mary Cecelia Ryan.
I would appreciate any info on locating where in NF Mary Cecelia Ryan and Walter Wilson Ryan are burried.
Thanks to anyone who can help. I'm very willing to trade info, if I have anything you need.

Description: We're dazed and confused and looking for any shreds of solid information on my paternal Great Grandparents Philip Ryan of Conception Harbour and Mary Cole of Colliers. We believe they were married about 1884 and that Philip died in his thirties in the late 1890's. They had several children including Gregory Ryan, born 1885 and Thomas Ryan, my Grandfather, born in 1892. Philip was Mary's first husband, after his death we believe she married Thomas Laracy-about 1899. I'm looking for any info/records on both Philip and Mary and any of their children.
Since my last posted message I have proof my Grandfather, Thomas Ryan born 1892,Philip and Mary's son, married Mary Cecelia Gorman (1897-1917) in Boston, MA,USA in 1915. Mary was also born in NF. They had a son Walter Wilson Ryan (b)1917 and as the story goes, died in NF as a small child. Thomas's second wife was my Grandmother Esther Gushue a widow of Edward Vincent Doyle. They were married 1920 in Camden, NJ, USA. I have more info and am very willing to share and would greatly appreciate any info anyone can share with us. Thank You!

Description: Looking for information regarding Darby (Jeremiah) Ryan and wife Margaret (maiden name unknown), possibly married in Ireland before emigrating to Trinity Bay, NL. Darby was born 1728. They had a daughter also named Margaret who was born abt 1762. Daughter Margaret married 1) James Hurst and 2) James Rogers. There is a possibility Darby had a second wife named Ann or perhaps Ann & Margaret are the same person. Darby and Ann had at least three children, Richard, Pierce and Darby (Jeremiah) Jr. between 1767 and 1773 according to St. Paul's Index records.
