Predeceased by parents, Percy and Florence Hounsell; sisters, Pearl, Gertrude, Anastacia and Ina; sister-in-law, Esther Hounsell; brothers-in-law, William Benson, Roland Hann, Archibald Stanford and Jack Dyke. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Doris; sons, Cecil (Bernadette) of Labrador City, warren of pound Cove; daughters, Sylvia Luscombe (Harold) of Loon Bay, Gloria Spurrell (Lester) of Badger's Quay; brother, Bertram of Pound Cove; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family and friends on July 3, 2003, Doreen Sharpe of St. Philips, age 66 years. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Leo and Harvey Sharpe and sister-in-law, Brenda Rouse.
