Passed peacefully away at Riverview Homes, Gander Bay South, Barbara
Ada Wagg of Victoria Cove, aged 94 years. Predeceased by her husband,
Albert; son, Raymond; grandson, Owen; and sons-in-law, John Gillingham and
Tom Gabber. Left to mourn are daughters, Pauline (Steve), Eva (Derek), Cathy,
Donna (Leo), Doreen (Nelson); sons, Bill (Jackie), Owen (Ruth). Also left
to mourn are 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces,
nephews and friends. Funeral services were conducted from Holy Trinity Anglican
Church, Wing's Point with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Rodgers Cove.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Woolfrey's Funeral Home, Lewisporte.

Passed peacefully away after a short illness at James Paton Memorial Hospital,
Gander on Saturday,
June 2, 2007, Bernice Humphries, age
69 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Melena and sister, Shirley.
She is survived by her husband, Percy Humphries; 5 children, Pamela (Robert),
Peggy (Seymour), Jim (Millicent), Lorne (Peggy Ann) and Rodney (Maria); 6 grandchildren,
Melanie, Christopher, Mitchell, Brett, Tamara and Amanda; 4 great-grandchildren,
Reese, Liam, Lucas and Jordan; 6 sisters, Nina, Beulah, Jessie, Lena, Christine,
Joyce; 2 brothers, Cecil and Wallace; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins
and a very large circle of friends. Funeral service was held at the United
Church, Valleyfield on June 5th with Rev. H. Sandford officiating. Interment
followed from the United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield. As an expression of
sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

2, 2007, William Henry Sheppard, age 70 years of Badger's Quay.
Predeceased by his wife, Grace, March 1985, parents, Reginald and Doris and
brother, Wilson. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are 4 sons,
Lloyd (Paula) of Badger's Quay, Gary (Wanda) of Landsmen, Derek of Badger's
Guay, Danny of Badger's Quay; 3 daughters, June Russell (Jim) of Benton,
Stella Macfarlane (Murray) of Alberta, Marlene Granter (Frank) of Pool's
Island ; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Bill is survived by two
sets of twin; Megan - Jack, Daisy - Maude and a twin brother, Noah and a

the Agnes Pratt Home, St. John's, Loretta May Fifield, formerly
of Wesleyville, age 83. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Sophie Burry;
husband, Joseph Fifield; brothers, Wilbert and Cyril; sisters, Millicent Winsor,
Gwen LeDrew and Ella Dyke. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are

POWELL, Maisie - With sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,
Maisie Powell of Happy Adventure, aged 85 years. After a lengthy illness, she
entered into eternal rest on June 12, 2007 at Lakeside Homes,
Gander. She is predeceased by her parents, Richard (1953) and Lily (1988)
Powell; brothers, Howard (1961) and Sidney (1998); granddaughter, Baby Fulford
(1984); sons-in-law, Dennis Fulford (1988), Ted Penney (2006) and husband,

Torraville announces
his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor
on June 18, 2007 at the age of 76. Roy was a member of the
congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Grand Falls-Windsor. Left to mourn with
fond and loving memories are his wife, Lena; sons, Bruce (Marilyn) of Aspen
Cove, Robert (Isabell) of Toronto, ON; stepson, Harold of Toronto, ON; daughters,
Gerri (Kenton Klippenstein) of Strathmore, AB, Cindy (Gene Poffenroth) of Calgary,

Passed peacefully away at his home in Cornwall, ON, Paul Hansen,
age 58, formerly of Gander. Predeceased by his parents, William and Delvina
Hansen, brother, Olaf Hansen and sister, Doris Smits. Left behind with fond
and loving memories are his wife of 36 years, Betty (Shugarue) Hansen, daughters,
Erika Hansen (Chris Vanexan) of Toronto, and Gretchen Oake (Brad) of Gander
and precious grandson, Jaxon Oake. He is survived by brothers, Gerry Hansen
(Rose) of Carleton Place, ON, Arnold Hansen (Francis) of Moncton, NB, Leo Hansen(Marjorie)
of Chatham, NB; dear friends, Wayne and Linda Hardiman of Gander and a large
circle of family and friends. Paul's life was celebrated at the M. John Sullivan
Funeral Home in Cornwall on Friday, June 29 and friends and family will be

June 26, 2007, Sharon Elaine Pitcher, after a short but courageous
battle with cancer. She was 48. Predeceased by her mother, Stella (Chafe)

Adam and Matthew and their father, Paul and the Pitcher family; sisters,
