Predeceased by his wife Anne (nee- Crews) Parsons, brothers Mont (Nellie), Earl (Louise), brothers - in-law William Miller, Herb Rowsell. Left with loving memories are his wife Marie Parsons, son David (Sharon) of Noggin Cove, daughters Patricia (Gordon) of Newtown, Denise (Bruce) of Clarenville. Grandchildren Jeremy, Matthew, Melissa, Blair, Gail, Mitchell. It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald John Pumphrey announces his peaceful passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, his children: Carmel Hookey, St. John's; Ron (Marla) Pumphrey, Gillams; Louise Pumphrey, Gander; Joanne Pumphrey, St. John's; Fay (John) Best, Gander; and Frank (Tammy Ginther) Pumphrey, Salmo, BC; grandchildren: Jason and Shikara Pumphrey; Brianna, Tabitha and Daniel Hookey; Ryan Best; Chelsea and MacKenzie Ginther; great-granddaughter: Nevaeh Vincent; brother, Kevin (Valerie) Pumphrey; sister-in-law, Irene (Hector) Wells, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
