ALLEN, RITA EUNICA
It is with great sadness and broken hearts the family of the late ----------Rita Eunica Allen of Jacques Fontaine announces her passing on July 28, 2019 at the age of 84 years at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank. Left to mourn with cherished memories are her 8 children. Daughters, Rhoda (Claude) Pardy of Jacques Fontaine, Elizabeth (Larry) Barnes of Harbour Mille, Mabel Pardy (Allan) of Red Deer, Alberta, Louise Smith of Winterland, Bonnie Allen-Keough (Sheldon) of Marysotwn; Sons, Arthur (Tracey) Allen of Marystown, Howard (Janelle) Allen of Edwardsville, NS, Brian (Denise) Allen of Burin. 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary Brushett of Grand Bank & Ivy Brushett of Jacques Fontaine; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Arthur Allen, 6 sisters & 4 brothers. The Allen Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home in Marystown on Tuesday July 30, from 10:00am to 2:00pm then to St. Paul's Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine starting at 4:00pm for the remainder of the day. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine on Wednesday, July 31 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery in Jacques Fontaine. FRAMPTON, FRANK
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late FRANK FRAMPTON of Monkstown passed peacefully away in his sleep at the Dr. G.B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on July 18th, 2019 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Rebecca of 58 years; sons, Wilfred (Pamela), Carman (Maxine), and Aubrey (Lisa); daughter, Marilyn Healy (Joseph); 4 grandchildren, Nikita (Michael), Nathan, Alyssa, and Hannah; 1 great-grandchild, Everlynn; brothers, Jack (Amelia), Bill, Max (Louisa), Sid (Marilyn), and Melvin (Irene); sisters, Theresa, Beatrice, Susie (Kirby), Violet (Junior), Ethel (Ray), and Marie (Terry); also leaving to mourn, Aunt Grace, many nieces, nephews, and friends. was born stillborn on July 4, 2019 to parents Loressa and Jamie at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center. Though he never spent any time with us, he touched many of our lives. Our Precious little angel will always be remembered by us. It is with great sadness the family of Sadie Popovitch announces her passing at her residence, Creston South, July 21, 2019 at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Jean Meyer; grandchildren Charity and Joshua Meyer; sister-in-law Trudy Paul; aunts Georgina Strickland and Gwen Hollett (Paul); special friends Penney Matchim and Doris Moore who gave her such loving care plus a large circle of other family and friends. SCHULTZ, VERNA ROSE
It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Verna Rose Schultz (nee Cluett). She died peacefully in Calgary, Alberta with her son David and daughter Cindy at her side. Also present was David's partner Debbie and Cindy's husband Barry. In the final days of Verna's life, her granddaughter Jennifer and grandson Michael gave her great comfort. Jennifer's husband Ryan, their children, and his father Kevin spent many hours at her bedside. Verna was visited by her cousin Edna, good friends Helen and Lena; through all the years, they remained close and never lost touch. Vera was born in Frenchman's Cove, Newfoundland. She moved to Halifax as a young woman and worked for the Nova Scotia Light and Power Company. She met he husband Elvin while he was enlisted in the RCN and moved to Winnipeg, Regina, and finally settled in Calgary. Verna loved her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren. They were her life and comfort. Verna was generous, independently stubborn, and oh so hard working. She lived and died as she pleased. Her love and kindness will never be forgotten. Verna left home as a teenager and will now return. Her ashes will rest with her mother and father at St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery in Frenchman's Cove, Newfoundland. Service to be announced in the spring of 2020. She is survived by her son David (Debbie); daughter Cindy (Barry); grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan) Heidi (Kevin) and Michael (Christina); great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Andy, Lucy, Emmrie and Bryson; sisters Marjorie and Melita; brothers Will (Iris) Jim (Kay) Roy, and her many relatives and friends. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Jack of 53 years; sons, Morgan of Alberta, and Keith (Tiffany) of St. Lawrence; daughter, Kelly (Leo) of Little St. Lawrence; 3 grandsons, Christopher Simms, Noah Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Turpin, and the first grand-daughter Mariah Simms; 2 great-grandsons, Michael and Marc Simms; brothers, Leo Molloy (Laura) of St. Lawrence and Wils Molloy (Nancy) of St. Lawrence; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. SMITH, RANDELL
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late RANDELL SMITH of Brookside announces his passing. Randell passed away at the U.S Memorial Hospital in St. Lawrence on Thursday, July 18th, 2019, at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife June of 53 years; sons, Christopher (Beverley) of Boat Harbor, and Ford (Joanne) of Spruce Grove, AB; daughter, Elsie (Clayton Johnson) of Jacques Fountain ; 3 grandchildren, Abigail, Brandon, and Kayla; sister, Olga Smith of Mount Pearl; step-sister, Kimberley Stewart of Manitoba; step-brothers, Jerry Smith of Marystown, Eli Smith of Marystown, and Scott Smith of Marystown; Furbaby, Bella; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Randell was predeceased by his parents, James and Elsie Smith, brother lee, and parents-in-law Thomas and Edith Smith The Smith Family will be accepting visitors at the Church of Assention in Brookside on Saturday, July 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, July 21st at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Brookside. TRIMM, HENRY
It is with great sadness that the family of Henry Trimm of Grand Bank announces his sudden passing at Lanse au loup July 23, 2019, at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with family and friends his loving wife of 50 years Ruth; daughter Kim Trimm of Grand Bank; his pride and joys grandchildren Tyler Trimm and Sophia Dominie; siblings William (Gladys), Marjorie (Eugene) and Jean(Tom) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by brother Archibald; sister Martha Kline; parents Arthur and Sophia and brother-in-law Donald Kline. Beckley Health Care Centre in Grand Bank on Monday, July 29th at the age of 69. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Richard of 41 years; brother, Leslie Walters (Linda) of Big Salmonier; special nieces, Beverley Lahiton, Ella Simms; plus a large circle of family & friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick & Annie Walters; daughter, Leanne; son, Chad; sisters, Amelia Clouter, Georgina Hillier, Shirley Fox, Ruth Sheppard; parents-in-law, Robert & Careline Etheridge; neice, Annie Evans; nephews, Roy Fox & Fred Hillier.
