Passed peacefully away into the loving arms of God surrounded by her
family at the Masonic Park Nursing Home on Wednesday November
5, 2008, Lydia Osmond age 90 years, formerly of Grand Bank.Predeceased by her
husband, Charles, March 25, 1997. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving
memories her two sons; Chesley (Zita),Truro, Nova Scotia, Gary (Susan)
Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, one Daughter; Bessie Berry (Keith),
Truro, Nova Scotia, five grandchildren, Roger, Clint, Denise, Lisa, Michelle,
brother-in-law Stanley Osmond, Grand Bank, two special nieces, Eileen
Butt (Gerald) Mount Pearl, Dorcas Elms (John) St John's, one special
nephew Larry Osmond (Jeanette), Grand Bank; also many other relatives
and friends, a special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Masonic
nursing home for their kindness and compassion during her stay. Remains
resting at Warren's Funeral Home. Visitation on Thursday 7-9 pm, Friday

November 18th, Alice Jean Pittman of Lamaline, age
74 years. Predeceased by parents George and Susannah Pittman, sisters
Catherine and Bertha and brother Richard. Leaving to mourn: husband Maurice,
daughters Elizabeth, Mary (husband Don), Selena (husband Lloyd), Catherine
(husband Clyde), son Walter; grandchildren Kim, Kenny, Wandalee, Barbara,
Jenny, Matthew, Amanda, Valerie, Vicki and Vanessa, 6 Great grandchildren;
Special Friends Les and Susie Lovell, and Beulah Hooper. Also a circle
of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at St. Mary's Anglican
Church Lamaline on Tuesday Evening, and Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral
Service will take place on Friday at 1pm from St. Mary's Anglican Church,
