Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons John (Agatha) of Parker's Cove, William (Nina) of Bay L'Argent, Albert (Mary) of Bay L'Argent, Joseph (Angela) of Bay L'Argent and George (Sandra) of Marystown; daughters Ida (Thomas) Barnes of Bay L'Argent, Bertha Mitchell of Bay L'Argent, Bernadine Waterman of Marystown, Annie Brushett (Cleveland Dunn) of St. John's, Violet (Kenneth) Farrell of Little Bay and Francis Brushett (Brian Hodge) of St. Lawrence; 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank, on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, Norman G. Caines of Fortune, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents Alexander and Emma Caines; sisters Ada and Effie. Leaving to mourn: wife Elizabeth, daughter Georgina (Fred Cooper) of Fortune, son Thomas Simms (Annabelle) of Fortune, 5 grandchildren Gregory, Lorelei, Berkley, Tonya and Christa, 6 great grandchildren. Also a circle of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at All Saint's Anglican Church, Fortune on Tuesday and Wednesday. Passed away at Grand Bank on Sunday, October 24th, Randy W. Douglas, age 56 years. Predeceased by father Leslie and brother Ken; father and mother in law Jack and Helen O'Leary, brother in law Gerry Butch Dillon.
