Predeceased by her father, John, 1995 and brother, John, 1979. Leaving to mourn her mother Mary, and grandmother Mary Jo O'Keefe, both of Carbonear; two brothers: Tony (Carol), Carbonear and Larry, Red Deer, Alberta; one niece Melissa O'Keefe and one nephew Sean O'Keefe, both of Carbonear, special friend Melvin Pike, Carbonear, also a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends; best friends: Peggy Pye and Marie Slade, both of Carbonear. O'KEEFE, Barry, Augustus - It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barry Augustus O'Keefe announce his passing on January 13, 1992 at the Port Saunders Hospital in his 41st year. Leaving to mourn his special friend Cal of St. John's, his parents Alma and Ralph, his brothers: Ralph, George, Donald, Gregory and David; sisters: Phyllis, Joyce and their families, all of Port au Choix; His sister Dinah of Ontario. He also leaves to mourn a large circle of relatives and friends. The visitation was held at Fillatre's Funeral Home at Port aux Choix. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church at Port Au Choix, with the interment at the Interfaith Cemetery at Sandy Cove. O'KEEFE, Cyril Joseph - Passed peacefully away March 23, 1993, at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor. He was 64. Mr. O'Keefe retired from Abitibi-Price in 1989. Left to mourn are wife Mary; sons Charles (wife Zaya) of Pickering, Ontario; John and Danny, both of Grand Falls-Windsor; daughters Maureen (husband Angus Glavine) of Mount Pearl; Margie (husband Wayne Tait) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Rita of Mount Pearl and Elaine (husband Chris Connors) of Goulds. Also leaving to mourn are sisters: Gert (husband Herb Delong); Marie Shallow; Anne O'Keefe; Rose (husband Charlie Deighn); Monica (husband Taton MacNeil and brother Bernard O'Keefe; six grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 1974, his parents Louise and Lawrence O'Keefe, brothers Bernard and Ted, sisters Alma and Mercedes. Beloved father of Brian (Patti), Kapuskasing, Ont., and Luanne, Belleville, Ont. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Sean, Karen, Jennifer and Carly of Kapuskasing, and Jacques and Paul of Belleville; brother of Rev. Monsignor Dermot O'Keefe, Bay Bulls, and Elizabeth Mulrooney, St. John's; his sisters-in-law Rita O'Keefe and Margaret O'Keefe, both of St. John's. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, the residents and staff of Woodford's Comfort Care Manor, Holyrood, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Stella; three sons: Derm, Ted at Toronto and John; three daughters: Agnes and husband Jim White at Truro, Nova Scotia, Madonna and husband Gerry Pittman and Sheila (Conners) and husband Bruce Gollop; one sister Bride O'Toole; two brothers: Felix and wife Theresa and Jack and wife Bessie; five brothers-in-law: Charlie Perry, Bern and wife Helen, Lawrence and wife Lizzie, Paddy and Gus and wife Mary Conners.
