It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Collier announce his passing at the A. M. Guy Health Centre, Buchans, NL on Thursday May 2, 2013 at the age of 93. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Margaret (Dominic Drew), Stephenville, NL, Alfred (Effie), Kevin (Eleanor), Elizabeth (Joseph Willcott), Mildred (William Blake, Philomena (George Willcott), all of St. Alban's, NLO, Michael, Labrador City, NL, Anne Marie (John MacIsaac), Hubley, NS, Christine (Paul Walsh), Brampton, ON & Murray (Kathy), Paradise, NL; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother: Finton (Elizabeth), St. Veronica's, NL; brother in law: Albert MacDonald, St. Joseph's Cove, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Marie; son: Adonis; brother: Benedict; sisters: Olive, Lenora, Theresa & Mary. The funeral service was held on Monday May 6, 2013 at 11 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, Mr. Alexander Henry Snook, age 86 years of Harbour Breton. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Isabella, at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre in Botwood; sons, Wesley (Audrey), Alex Jr. (Bride), Hubert (Linda), Gary (Georgina) and Carl (Maureen) all at Harbour Breton; daughters, Christabelle (Leo Thornhill) at Harbour Breton, Whilemina at Fort McMurray and Nancy (Ambrose Snook) at Harbour Breton with whom he resided; twenty grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; home care worker, Ruby Lilly (Norman); plus a number of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Snook; sons, William and Wade; sisters, Gertie, Molly and Blanche; brother, Thomas.
Funeral service was held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Harbour Breton with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Harbour Breton.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Strickland announce his passing at the Bay d'Espoir Community Health Centre, St. Alban's, NL on Monday May 20, 2013 at the age of 75. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Doris; children: Glenda (Perry Power), Paradise, NL & Keith (Charmaine), English Harbour West, NL; grandchildren: Victoria Rae, Catherine & Sarah; sisters: Irene Taylor, St. Catherine's, ON & Caroline Strickland, Gatineau, QC; sisters in law: Millicent, Doris & Martha as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers: Stanley, Reginald, Wesley & John; brother in law: John Taylor; sister in law: Myrtle Strickland. The funeral service was held on Thursday May 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Ascension Anglican Church, Morrisville, NL with Reverend Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Morrisville Community Cemetery, Morrisville. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
