HOWELL, Janet - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizens Home, Carbonear on Saturday; August 30, 2008, Mrs. Janet Howell of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband Harry Howell and parents Augustus & Mary Ann Oates. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Ken (Cathie) Howell; daughters Isabell (Howard) Worthman, Janet (Jim) Tetford, June (Rayfield) Dalley, Claudette Priddle, Harriet Short, Maxine Clarke and Sybil Howell; sisters Janie Laing, Dulsie Snow and Maxine Oates; brother Winston Oates; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at Bethany United Church and cemetery, Carbonear Tuesday, Sept. 2. Trickett of St. John's formerly LeGrow (nee Moores) born at Adams Cove on November 1, 1919.
