Passed on: August 24th, 2015
Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, August 24, 2015, Betty L. LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: Alec; daughter-in-law: Brenda LeShane; parents: William and Fannie Snelgrove; sister-in-law: Joyce Snelgrove; brother-in-law: Douglas Rogers. Left to mourn, one daughter: Linda (Paul) Puddester, Lower Island Cove; one son: Derrick (Florence Snelgrove), Lower Island Cove; four grandchildren: Stephen, Pauline (Colin), Curtis (Stacey) and Melanie (Matthew); three great-grandchildren: Chance, Olivia and Brooklyn; two brothers: Gordon (Maud) Snelgrove, Mount Pearl and William Snelgrove (Evelyn), Carbonear; one sister: Beatrice Rogers, Mount Pearl; special friend: Gertie LeShane, Lower Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Lieutenants Keith and Charlene Barrett conducted the funeral service on Friday, August 28 from Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, P.O. Box 55, Lower Island Cove, NL, A0A 2W0. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay.
