Mr. Clarence F. Butt, of Upper Island Cove passed away peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital, on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Mr. Butt was 71 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family wife Mabel, son Carl (Terry), Brothers and Sister: John (Marilyn), Stan (Linda), Bill (Mabel), Clayton (Ethel), Raymond (Violet) and Roma (Ron), sisters-in-law: Mary (Bob) and Viola. Predeceased by son Stephen, parents Stanley and Irene, and brother Calvin. The Funeral Service took place on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from St. Peter's Anglican Church & Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. The family received relatives and friends at Slade's Funeral Home, Upper Island Cove. Flowers were greatly accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the St. Peter's Anglican Church Restoration Fund. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2015, Lillian Clarke of Victoria, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents: Herman and Alfreda Butt, brother: Barry Butt and nephew: Brent Butt. Left to mourn, husband: Allan; one daughter: Tracy (Edwin) Whittle, Sydney Mines, NS; one son: Stephen Clarke (Nikita Wall), St. John's; two grandchildren: Haley and Charlie Whittle; two brothers: Ronald (Philomena) Butt, Burnt Point and Paul (Gladys) Butt, Freshwater, Carbonear; three sisters: Sheila (Brian) Gear and Ann Deering, both of Carbonear and Wanda (Terry) Yetman, Bryant's Cove; three nieces and nine nephews; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Collingwood Downs Nursing Home, Clarkes Beach, on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Gwendolyn Davis aged 98 years. Predeceased by her husband: Bert; son: Brett; sister: Evelyn Clarke and brothers: Harry, Arch, George and Gordon. Leaving to mourn her daughter: Vanda Maunder (David); daughter-in-law: Deidre Davis; grandchildren: April Nangle (Doug), Haley, Robyn and Ryan; great-great grandchildren: Anna and Eli, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, including a host of loving dance students. Passed on: June 9th, 2015
of Bryant's Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 9, 2015 in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Michael was the son of the late John and Mary Louvelle. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife, Cavell; son, Sean (Helen) Louvelle; daughter, Tracy (Darrell) Groom; grandchildren, Jillian, Zachary, Ethan and Alex; 4 sisters, 5 brothers and extensive members from the Louvelle and Noseworthy Families. He was predeceased by his brother Aloysius Louvelle. Michael was a very devoted husband and father who loved his family more than life itself. You will forever be in our hearts. There will be a memorial service in honor of Michael, details to follow. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.

MORRISSEY, Ella Catherine

Passed on: May 16th, 2015
Passed away with her family by her side, Ella Morrissey of Harbour Grace South. Left,not to mourn, but to rejoice in the life she has given are three daughters; Mary (Gus), Barbara (Carl),Michelle (Leo) and four sons; Patrick (Norma), Don (Jean), Tom (Brenda), John (Karen). Also left with cherished memories of nan are a large and loving circle of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donations in her memory can be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Cancer Society or to the Newfoundland and Labrador Alzheimer's Society. Special thanks to granddaughter Paulette for her hospitality and her generosity. Thank-you to Gillian for being our "go get girl" during mom's final days.Thank-you to the staff of the Carbonear general Hospital who responded compassionately to our mother's needs. Words cannot express how grateful we are to the staff of Callingwood Downs for their dedicated care of our mom. Cremation and private family inurnment have taken place.
