This Poem is dedicated to my sister Rhoda Beatrice Brown, who passed away June 14th, 1998. Also my sister Elizabeth Pugh, who passed away September 15th, 1985, Both died in the United States.

The laughing lady in the picture is my wife Doris Smith (Oldford), a true Newfoundlander, (Picture taken at the local Legion in Brockville, Ontario, 1992 Christmas Party). Doris was born October 8th, 1924. Married Donald Smith at St. Thomas Church, St. John's, Newfoundland on February 8th, 1943. Moved to the mainland and had five children. Doris passed away on August 25th, 1993.
