Byrne, Mary Alice
Peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 24th, 2005 at Joseph
Brant Hospital in Burlington at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late John
Joseph. Loving mother of Eileen, Elizabeth and Patricia. Dear grandmother of
Shawn, Lee, Christopher, Denis, Lori, Mitchell and Sandra. Proud great-grandmother
of Jacqueline, Danielle, Michael, Jordan, Arin, Sydney, Liam, Colin, Justin,
Livia and Adrian. She is resting peacefully in St. Mary's Cemetery in Port
Credit, Ontario.

February 14, 1930 - January 17th, 2005
Passed away suddenly due to heart condition. Predeceased by parents, Hubert
and Emma (Miller) Small, who raised him and by birth parents, Archibald and
Dora (Mills) Earle; daughter Josephine (2003); sisters; Ida Preston, Stella
Preston; Evelyn (1940) and Marjorie (infant); and brother Leander Earle. Left
with fond memories are his wife of 48 years, Olive (LeDrew) Earle of LaScie,
White Bay; one brother William Earle of Ladysmith, BC and sister-in-law Vera
Earle of Corner Brook, NL; children; Catherine LeDrew, Tom Earle and Cora Goodyear
of Fort McMurray, AB; Donna Earle-Dobbin of St. John's, NL, Gail Russell of
Too Good Arm, NL, grandchildren; Lucy Marchand, Nadine LeDrew, Jason LeDrew;
Ryan, Cassandra and Kaitlyn Earle; Kenneth and Benjamin Goodyear of Fort McMurray,
AB; Robin and Samantha Russell and one great-granddaughter Carrie Russell of
NL.
Derle, Rosie May (nee Gosse) (with picture)
Born on Bell Island, NL, August 25th, 1934. Passed away in Cambridge,
Ontario, on December 3rd, 2005. Daughter of Walter
and Sarah Gosse. Rosie graduated with honors from the Salvation Army High School
on Bell Island. After graduating, she attended summer school at Prince of Wales
College in St. John's, and taught for 8 years at the following Salvation Army
Schools in NL, Winterton, Green's Harbour, Dark Cove-Gambo, Burin and Comfort
Cove. In September 1959, Rosie moved to Galt and worked in payroll, accounts
payable, and switchboard assistance at the R. McDougall Company, later Miehel-Goss-Dexter,
where she met Wolfgang and were married July 29, 1967 in the Carbonear, NL
Salvation Army Citadel. Rosie and Wolfgang were devoted to each other. In July
1968, devoted son Peter was born. Rosie was a lifelong Salvationist and devoted
her time The Service of The Lord, Ladies Bible Study, Ladies Home League,
Ladies Night Out. She passed away suddenly and is deeply missed by her devoted
husband Wolfgang, and son Peter, brothers, sisters and their spouses, and
many nieces and nephews.

October 23rd, 1913 - January 30th, 2005
Entered peacefully into eternal rest at Gambo, NL, Dorcas Lush. Predeceased by
husband, Benjamin (1975), daughter Greta (1995), son Wayne (1981) and son Wilson
(1940). Sadly missed, lovingly remembered by her children: Donald, Willis, Joyce,
Betty, Faye, Heather and families, her sister Maxine Fry and her brother Gordon
Collins, 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and many other extended
family members and friends.

In Montreal, on April 14th, 2005 at the age of 72, George
Miles,
son of the late Wilson and Frances Miles of Corner Brook, NL. Passed away leaving
his wife, Mary Green and children, Rupert, Donna, Ken, George, Debbie, Mary,
Donnie (predeceased), 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased
by his sister Barbara and sister Eileen. Survived by his sisters, Dorothea,
Winnie, Marie, Brenda, and brothers, John, Hubert and Bob. We would like to
thank our family and friends for their support.
Parsons, Peter Dean
Suddenly on Thursday, June 30th, 2005 in
his 47th
year, Dean Parsons, husband of Marilyn, loving father of Dwayne
and Danielle. Dean will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by parents Walter
Charles and Maude Parsons of NL, two sisters Cathy Vander Heide and Donna Morandini,
brothers Jim and Danny. Also survived by his grandmother Nellie "Nan" Goulding.
Family and friends were received at the Demarco Funeral Home in North York, ON,
Tuesday, July 5th, 2005. Funeral Service took place on Wednesday,
July 6th, 2005 at Demarco Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Beechwood
Cemetery.

Of Port aux Basques, NL (formerly of Petites). Leaves to mourn with fond and
precious memories his wife of 51 years, Florence; children: Queenie (Terrence)
LaVallee, Helen (Wade) Bateman, Margaret (Danny) Strickland, John, Linda, Ernie
(Heather), Cindy (Carl) Duval, Classie, Donnie (Janice), Chris (Lisa); 18 grandchildren
and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son, Raymond and daughter Classie
Laurena.
Forever missed, but never forgotten.
