Passed on: April 7th, 2016

On April 7, 2016, Helen Ruth Marsh of Canmore, AB, formerly of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, passed away in Goose Bay, Labrador at the age of 68. Helen will be dearly missed by her three daughters, Yvette Young (Tony), Wendy Marsh, Amy Forward (David), her three grandchildren Isabelle, Desmond, Joseph and her many brothers and sisters, Phyllis, Vi, Bonnie, Shirley, Sid, Vera, Verna, Harvey. Helen thrived on the simple pleasures of spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoying outdoor activities and sparking up a friendly conversation with friends and strangers alike. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, AB, and the Labrador Health Centre in Goose Bay, NL for the care provided during this past year. The celebration of Helen's life will take place in Bishop's Falls at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, 451 Main St, Bishop's Falls, on April 18th 2016 at 2pm. A second celebration of her life will take place in Canmore, AB at the Crossway Community Church, 117 Bow Meadows Crescent on May 1, 2016 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen Marsh's name to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, C/O Tom Baker Cancer Centre (https://albertacancer.ca/donate/in-memory) and will be very much appreciated by her family.
