DURNFORD, Morgan Young
November 21, 1926 - July 03, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Morgan Durnford announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Born in Francois, NL, Morgan was the son of the late Robert and Roseanna Durnford. He was also predeceased by his wife Isabelle Durnford (nee Currie) in 2017; father and mother-in-law James Currie and Dorcas Elizabeth (nee Strickland); daughter Ethel Marie; brothers and sisters John R (Martha) Durnford, Roy (Winnie) Durnford, James (Susie) Barter, James Ritch (Sarah) Durnford, Jessie (Reg) Courtney; brother-in-law Leslie Currie, Alex Musseau, Clarence Morgan; sisters-in-law Emma (Leslie) Melbourne, Minnie (George R) Parsons, Miria (Ronald) Hiscock. He leaves to mourn with precious memories his sons Calvin (June) Durnford and Leslie Durnford both of Rose Blanche, NL; grandsons Calvin Morgan Durnford of Rose Blanche, NL, Michael (Karen) Durnford of Kingston, NS; great-grandchildren Ethan and Emily Durnford; sisters-in-law Carrie Currie, Ethel Musseau both of Port aux Basques, NL, Bessie Morgan of Sudbury, ON plus a large circle of nephews and nieces and many friends. A special thank to Audrey Hatcher and Janet Bateman.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, continuing on Friday, July 6th, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at St. Michael's and All Angel's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche, NL from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 7th at 2 pm officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Petten with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Morgan's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice. HARVEY, Allison
January 21, 1941 - July 02, 2018

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Allison Harvey announces his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Born in Jeffrey's, NL, Allison was the son of the late Richard and Beatrice Harvey (nee Alley). He was also predeceased by his wife Madonna Harvey (nee Pike) in 2017; brothers Neville Harvey, Roy Harvey, Hedley Harvey and brother-in-law Joseph Legge. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Theresa (Charles) Gillam, Carolyn (Eugene Madore) Harvey; sons Christopher (Wilma Purchase) Harvey, Richard (Penny) Harvey; our special Shirley Hulan who lived with us for 25 years; grandchildren Krista (Jake), Blayne (Desiree), Chantelle (Sheldon), Kasandra (Tyler), Kaitlyn, Cody, Rachel; great-granddaughter Alexa; sisters Eva Bowridge, Thelma Legge, Bride (Robert) Gale, Stella (Bill Collins) Stuckless, Martha (John) Gillis, Pearl (Isaac) Legge; brothers Lorne (Risa) Harvey, Gordon (Helena) Harvey; daughter-in-law Tracy Hulan plus many nieces and nephews.
Allison married Madonna on August 11th, 1964 and together they had four children. His biggest joy in life was having his family around, cooking and baking for them. We always said he could make a rubber boot taste good. Once the cooking was done then it was time of cards.
Visitation will take place at Saint Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Jeffrey's, NL on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at 2 pm officiated by The Rev. Canon Kristen Gosse with interment to follow at the Saint Mary Magdalene Anglican Church Cemetery in Jeffrey's, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Allison's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Leo Martin Hynes announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at the age of 73 years. Born in Codroy Valley, NL, Leo was the son of the late Leonard and Rita Hynes (nee Poole). He was also predeceased by his wife Ursula Hynes (nee Bruce) in 1991; father and mother-in-law Augustine and Elizabeth Bruce (nee Nugent); son Dion Hynes; brother William Hynes, Kevin Hynes and sister Jean (Don Musseau) Hynes. He leaves to mourn with precious memories his children Cheryl (Tim) Francis of Timberlea, NS, Jocelyn (Scott) Harrison of Blandford, NS, Tracy (Josh) McNeil both of Halifax, NS, Jennifer (John) MacDougall; grandchildren Meghan, Nick, Liam, Toby, Ben, Charlotte, Finley; brothers Doug (Laura) Hynes, Brian (Sharon) Hynes both of St. Andrew's, NL, Karl (Pam) Hynes of Conn, Glen Hynes of Ottawa, Ont; sisters Marlene Hynes (Ted Maciaac) of St. Andrew's, NL, Marg Dominie (Lloyd Herritt) of Stephenville, NL, Georgina Hynes (Jeff Hopkins) of Ottawa, Ont, Patti Hynes Leclair of Ontario; sisters-in-law Marion Blagdon Hynes, Pauline Wall Hynes both of St. Andrew's, NL plus a large circle of nephews and nieces.
In keeping with Leo's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Leo's life will take place in Newfoundland at a later date with a private burial in Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. She was also predeceased by her husband Walter LeFrense; father and mother-in-law James and Amelia LeFrense; son Walter LeFrense; brother Norman Ball; sisters-in-law Edith Jane (Cecil) Marsden, Marion (Frank) Morris, Alma (Eric) Meade, Eli LeFrense; brother-in-law Garland Thorne. Born in Burnt Islands, NL, Robert was the son of the late Ernest and Susan MacDonald (nee Leamon). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Tom and Elsie Herritt (nee Edmunds); sisters Sadie (Blanford) Keeping, Liz Duckworth; uncle Brim who Christina took as a father figure; brothers-in-law Wendell (Lillian) Herritt, Philip (Liza Jane) Herritt, Issaac Herritt; sisters-in-law Susie (Hubert) Enwood, Hazel (Minter) King, Eva Herritt, and Irene Herritt. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Pauline Mary MacIsaac (nee Luedee) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Friday, July 13th, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Born in St. Andrew's, NL, Pauline was the daughter of the late Louis and Angela (nee MacIsaac). She was also predeceased by her loving husband Patrick in 2013; father and mother-in-law Allan and Catherine MacIsaac (nee Young); brothers Paul, Joseph, Bill, Philip, Tony, John, Leonard Luedee; sisters Helen MacIsaac, Eileen Dickus; brothers-in-law Gerald, Fred, Raymond, Archie, Johnny, James, Angus, Joseph and Andrew MacIsaac, also brothers in law Tony Dickus, Charlie Faughnan; sisters-in-law Dot Luedee, Lena Luedee, Vera Luedee, Hilda Luedee, Oblena Luedee and Edna MacIsaac. Pauline was devoted to family and friends and truly enjoyed having company. She possessed a wonderful sense of humour and was witty till the end. Her pass times included playing darts, cards, knitting, cooking, baking and cleaning. She be will greatly missed and fondly remembered by a large circle of family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 from 8:00-9:30 pm continuing on Sunday, July 15th, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 with a wake service beginning at 8:00 pm and visitation continuing until 9:30 pm at the Church of the Precious Blood in St. Andrew's, NL from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 16th, 2018 at 11 am officiated by Father Lee Lainey with interment to follow at the St. Andrew's Cemetery in St. Andrew's, NL. She was also predeceased by her husband Lloyd Strickland in 1975; father and mother-in-law George and Marjorie Strickland (nee Scott); step-mother-in-law Catherine Strickland (nee Collier); two infant children Monford and Paulette; sisters Leah (Enoch) Prosser, Annie (Freeman) LaFosse, Rita (Sandy) Durnford, Edna LeFrense; brothers Freeman (Dulcie) Green, Garfield (Effie) Green; brothers-in-law Willard Payne, Jack Strickland, and sister-in-law Ethel (Lori) Seymour.
