COLLIER, Wilfred John
February 27, 1935 - November 19, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred John Collier announces his passing on Saturday, November 19th, at Charles L. LeGrow Health Center at the age of 76 years old. Wilfred was predeceased by his Wife, Mabel; Parents, George and Rose Collier; Brothers, Fred and Amos; Sister, Patricia; Brother in laws, Harry and Ayris.Parents in law, Heber and Minnie & Agnes and Thomas. He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving family, Wife; Valerie, Children; Juanita (Andy), Joan (Mike) and Ricky (Rose), Step-Children; Tony (Cavelle), Junior (Julie) and Grandchildren; Karen (David), Keith (Kelly), Gregory (Vicki), Tammy (Paul), Vanessa (Chaulkie), Matthew (Jessica), Richard (Sarah), Jonathan (Davona), Dennis, Tia (Brian), Brock and Jasmine, 8 Great Grandchildren, Brothers; Frank (Eva), Ernest (Greta), Sisters; Ruth (Ralph), Brothers in law; Benson (Wilhelmina), Gerald (Marjorie), Owen (Jane), and Dave (Shirley) and Ralph (Geraldine), Kevin (Kathy), Wayne (Beryl ), Albert (Rhea), Glenn (Lynn), Arch (Treena), Randy (Suzanne) and Don (Joanne), Sister in laws; Mona ,Joyce, Madeline (Walter), Goldie (Rex), Marlene (Bob), Maisie (Bob) and Christine (Harvey) & Annie (Junior) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.To honor Wilfred's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation took place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy on Monday 7-9 PM. Funeral services took place on Tuesday November 22, 11 AM at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy officiated by Rev. JANES, George Albert
October 25, 1938 - November 26, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Albert Janes announces his passing on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Center at the age of 73 years. Born at Cape Ray, George was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (nee Short) Janes. He was also predeceased by his brothers Raymond Jeans, Kevin Wall, Claude Janes, brother-in-law Will Carter, sister-in-law Rita Janes, niece Linda Janes. He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving family, brothers Harold (Joyce) Janes, Alex Janes, Austin (Evelyn) Janes all of Cape Ray, sisters Gertie (Calvin) Rose Port aux Basques, Doris (Hubert) Harris Gander Bay, sister-in-law Nina Jeans Port aux Basques, Olive Janes Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends including his special friends and staff at Mountain Hope Manor. Visitation took place on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Monday November 28, 2 PM at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, Cape Ray officiated by Rev. Peter Boote. KING, Mildred Dorcus
June 20, 1945 - November 26, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Dorcus King announces her passing on Saturday November 26, 2011 at the Health Science Center, St. John's NL at the age of 66 years. Born at LePoile NL, Mildred was the daughter of the late John and Adelaide (Bond) Vautier, she was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1995, brothers Walters, Albert, Chesley, sisters Carrie and Amy, brothers-in-law Jack Leriche, Max Stone, Richard Blackmore, sisters-in-law Gertie Blackmore and Loretta Vautier. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her loving family, daughter Cathy (Edward) Edmunds, 3 sons, Jackie (Colleen) King, Jamie (April) King, Christopher (Sharon) King all of Burnt Islands, grandchildren Adam, Geniene, Jenna, Gina, Janelle, Chantel, Cassandra, Christopher, 2 sisters, Kathleen Leriche Port aux Basques, Sybil (Gerald Wayne) King Burnt Islands,2 brothers, Hubert (Shirley) Vautier, Gerald Vautier (Debbie Ryan) , Max (Clare) Vautier of Margaree, sisters-in-law Susie Thorne Burnt Islands, Edna Vautier, Lois Vautier of Margaree, brothers-in-law Gilbert Riles Port aux Basques, George (Katie) King Geary, NB, special friend Jessie Pike Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many many friends. Visitation took place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the family residence in Burnt Islands. Funeral services took place on Thursday December 1, 2 PM at St. George's Anglican Church Burnt Islands, officiated by Rev. Kris Gosse. LeRICHE, John Calvin
October 3, 1929 - November 26, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Calvin LeRiche announce his passing on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 82 years. Born in Port Aux Basques, Calvin was the son of the late Annie and James LeRiche of Port Aux Basques. He was also predeceased by sisters Nora and Geneveive; infant sister Shelida; sister Annie Kettle and step-brothers James and Robert Carter. He leaves to mourn sister Ethel; brother Wilfred and sister-in-law Kay; nieces Patty Dunbrack and Carol; nephews Michael and James LeRiche and Steven; brother-in-law Jay Fred Scudder in the United States, as well as a large circle of friends. Funeral Service was held at St. James Anglican Church in Port Aux Basques on Wednesday, November 30th at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Louise Richards. Interment followed at Barachois Hill Cemetery. MacARTHUR, Mary Jessie
Doyles, NL
January 18, 1917 - November 2, 2011
Passed away on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 at Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, Mary Jessie MacArthur at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Leonard (Anne Marie), Codroy Valley, Francis (Donna) River Ryan, NS, James (Audrey), Leo, Port Au Port, Brian, Codroy Valley, Michael, Scarborough, ON, Loretta (Gerard),Codroy Valley, Richard (Diane), Dryden,ON and Kevin (Mary), Sackville, NS; 22 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; siblings: Marie, Freeman, and Joan; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis; and sons: Ronald and Hugh. Visitation took place from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Doyles on Thursday from where the funeral service was held on Friday, November 4th at 11:00 A.M. Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment followed at Mt. St. Thomas cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.

McKAY, Ida
August 23, 1937 - November 4, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ida Cecilia McKay (nee Renouf) announces her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday November 4th, at the age of 74 years. Born at Robinson's NL, Ida was the daughter of the late James and Annie Renouf. She was also predeceased by her husband Ronald in April 2011, brother Johnny Renouf, sisters Sarah Swyers and Marie Muise, sisters-in-law Ada Renouf and Dulcie Renouf. Brothers in law Hughie Muise and Bill McGrath. She leaves mourn with loving and precious memories her two sons; Randy ( Sylvia Goobie), Mark ( Debi Snow), and two granddaughters; Jessica and Nicole. Sisters; Mary McGrath Idaho USA, Isabell (George) Brown Ontario, Margaret Young Robinson's. Brothers; Andrew (Renetta) Renouf Ontario, Alexander Renouf, Neil Renouf both of Robinson's, sister in law Theresa Renouf Robinsons, and as well a large circle of other loving relatives and close friends. To honor Ida's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation took place at St. Joseph's RC Church, Heatherton on Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 10 AM -12 noon with funeral mass following at 2 PM officiated by Father Maurice O'Quinn. Donations in Ida's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. SEAWARD, Sharon
August 20, 1952 - November 10, 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sharon Seaward (nee Keeping) announces her passing surrounded by her loving family on Thursday November 10th, 2011 at the age of 59 years. Born at Port aux Basques, Sharon was the daughter of the late Gordon and Elsie Belle Keeping. She was also predeceased by her sister Juanita Sheppard. Mother and father in law, James and Frances Seaward. Brothers in law; Horace Meade, Frank Sheppard, Berkley Hann and Sister in law Joan Seaward. Nephews, Michael Noseworthy, Jason Seaward, niece Rhonda Seaward and great nephew James Osmond. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her husband Robert of 38 years. Loving mother and best friend to her children; Brock (Kim), Trula, Trina (Greg) Cook, Brent (Terri-Lynn) all of Port aux Basques. Devoted grandmother of her three precious grandchildren; Cohen Cook, Bella Seaward, Blake Lomond. Sharon will also be sadly missed by her brothers; Roderick (Margaret) Keeping Mount Pearl NL, Winston (Anne) Keeping, Richard (Katherine) Keeping, Roy (Norma) Keeping, David (Karen) Keeping, Melvin (Faye) Keeping all of Port aux Basques, Kevin Keeping Prince George BC. Sisters; Leverne Meade, Loretta (Gregg) Pearce all of Port aux Basques, Venita (Jerome) Dennis Piccadilly NL, Joscelyn (Rob) Buckham Prince George BC, Dulcie Keeping Gays River NS. Brothers in law; William (Audrey) Seaward, Maxwell (Eleanor) Seaward, Eric (Lora) Seaward. Sisters in laws; Shirley Hann, Phyllis (Bob) Cox, Viola (Lloyd) Osmond all of Port aux Basques, Donna - Lee McLennon of New Brunswick. Special friends, Donna and Gary Meade, Ruth Fillier, Tom Francis, Caroline Walters, Veronica Roberts, Trula and Ken Alexander, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Visitation took place on Friday from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Sunday November 13, 2 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel, officia ted by Captain Paul Blake. Interment followed at Salvation Army Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. WALTERS, Michael Harold
December 25, 1977 - November 29, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Harold Walters announce his passing on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at his family residence in Harbour Le Cou at the age of 33 years. He was born in Port aux Basques, NL. He was predeceased by grandparents Pearl and Dave Clarke Jr.; great-grandparents Ernest and Ezitte Walters, all of Harbour Le Cou; great-grandparents Alexander and Alice Organ, Isle aux Morts, Reid and Violet Skinner, Burgeo and cousin Taylor Kinslow of Isle aux Morts. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories is loving parents Eric and Sylvia Walters, Harbour Le Cou; his two precious children, Eric and Erica Walters, Fort McMurray, AB; brother Eugene (Jennifer) Skinner; two nieces, Katie and Lexie all of Fort St. John, BC; grandparents, Hartland and Bertha Skinner, Isle aux Morts; grandfather Harold Vallis; uncles, Brad (Valerie Clarke), Port aux Basques, Monford (Lorraine) Organ, Alex (Wanda) Skinner, Hartley (Mildred) Skinner, Ross (Denise) Skinner, all of Isle aux Morts, Don (Colleen) Skinner, Fort St. John, BC, aunts, Linda (Calvin) LeFrense, Isle aux Morts, Lavena (Reid) Brekkas, Fort St. John, BC, and a large circle of cousins and many friends. Family and friends visited St. Michaels and All Angels Church in Rose Blanche on Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service took place on Saturday, December 3rd at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Kris Gosse. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
