November 11, 1941 - October 24, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose
Aucoin announces
her passing on Sunday October 24, 2010 at Dr. Charles
L Legrow Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 68 years.
Born at Isle aux Morts, Rose was the daughter of the late Sarah Jane
and Garfield Walters. She was also predeceased by her son Lewis, sister
Annie, brother William Henry, nephew Gary Hiscock, great nephew Richard
Osmond, parents-in-law Arthur and Annie Aucoin, sister-in-law Cecilia
Aucoin, brothers-in-law Raymond Aucoin, Gerald Gale, Ron Hiscock, Jim
Mauger, Emanuel Caines. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious
memories her loving family: husband Clem, son Tony and grandson Kalin.
Sisters Elizabeth, Carrie (Lawrence), Marina (Alonzo), Ella (Conrad),
Mary (Ralph). Brothers Garfield (May), George (Vivian), Joshua (Ada),
Minter (Loretta), Cornilus. Sisters-in-law Leona, Clara (Clive), Bernice,
Christine (Jim), Emma Walters. Brothers-in-law; Bill Aucoin (Jean),
Walter Aucoin (Annie). Daughter-in-law Patti Paul-Aucoin and a large
circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. To honor her wishes
cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Wednesday from
7-9pm at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry. Funeral mass
took place on Thursday October 28, 11AM at St. Ann's Roman Catholic
Church, officiated by Father Edward Terry. Interment follow at Mount
St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the

Jane Billard announces her passing on Wednesday,

L Legrow Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 71 years.
Born at Isle aux Morts, Melita was the daughter of the late Morgan
and Lillian Wells. She was also predeceased by brothers Benjamin Wells,
Harold Wells, Albert Tom Wells, Morgan Wells, James William Wells and
Wilfred Wells. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters
Claudine (Ralph) Dingwell of Fort McMurray, AB, Thelma (Wilson) Dominey

Funeral services took place on Monday October 11th, 11 AM at St. Paul's
Anglican Church, Grand Bay officiated by Rev'd Peter Boote. Interment
followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Mort Road. Funeral arrangements

HAYWARD, Graham Wayne
Port aux Basques, NL
October 30, 1947 - October 21, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Graham
Wayne Hayward announces his sudden passing at his family residence in Port aux Basques
on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in his 62nd year. He will be sadly missed
by his loving and devoted wife Christina (nee Thorne); children: Trudy
(Corey), Paula (Frank), Scott (Dawn) and Shana (Nathan); grandchildren:
Ashley, Michael, Amber, Matteo, Madison, Ryan and Matthew; brothers:
Brian of Port aux Basques, NL and Calvin of Surrey, BC: sister Evelyn
(John) Devison of Sydney, NS; as well as a large circle of other relatives
and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Annie Hayward.
He retired in October 2008, after 44 years of service as a Marine Engineer
with Marine Atlantic, which he fully enjoyed. He was also community
oriented, his contributions will be missed. He leaves so many with
memories, which they will hold dear to their hearts. Friends visited
Fillatre's Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of
2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service took place on Monday, October
25 at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel. Interment followed at
the Salvation Army Cemetery. Capt. Paul Blake officiated. As expressions
of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. The family guest book

June 26, 1943 - October 14, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aggie
Ingram announces
her passing at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre on Thursday,
October 14th, 2010 at the age of 67 years. She was a loving
wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Leaving to mourn with
fond and loving memories husband Albert Ingram Sr.; children: Ronnie
(Kim), Isle aux Morts, Lenora (Stephane), Montmagny, Que, Floyd Albert

NS, Eric (Kathy), Barrie, ON, Terri-Lynn (Ivan), Kegaska, Que, Floyd
(Charleston), Traceyville, NB; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren,
as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Friends visited
Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts on Thursday 7-9 p.m.
and Friday 2-4 & 7-9
p.m., from where the Funeral Service took place on Saturday, October
16th at 3:00 p.m., Reverend Peter Boote officiated. Interment followed
at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Margaree. As expressions of sympathy, flowers

LUSHMAN, Violet
Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, St. John's on October
16th, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Violet
Lushman, age 62
years. Predeceased by her parents Jacob and Phebe Young and brother
Edgar. Left with cherished memories her husband Claude; four daughters
Frances (Gar), Roxanne, Claudette (Leo), and Joy (Brian); nine grandchildren
Cody, Nicholas, Daniel, Brady, Chandler, Noah, Olivia, Patrick, and
Nevaeh; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special
thank you to the staff at the Miller Centre. Visitation and Funeral

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jane Purchase announces her passing on Friday
October 25th 2010 at Dr. Charles L
Legrow Health Center in Port aux Basques at the age of 79 years. Born
in Port aux Basques Jane was the daughter of the late Hibbert and Annie
Anderson. She was also predeceased by her husband Richard Purchase
and brothers; Bert, Gordon, and Jack. Sisters; Violet, Theresa, Ida,
Beatrice, Hannah, Rebecca, and Annie. She leaves to mourn with fond
and precious memories her loving family; son Gordon (Daphne) and their
children Tracey and Glenn. Glenda (Dave) Feltham, many other nieces
and nephews, and a large circle of other family and friends including
her friends at Mountain Hope Manor. Visitation took place on Tuesday
from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral services took place on Thursday October 28th, 2010 2 PM at
St. James' Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Duncan Granter.
Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian
Seymour announces her passing on Wednesday
October 13, at the age of 59 years.
Lillian was predeceased by her father James in 1989. Father and mother
in law, Mike and Blanche Seymour. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious
memories her loving family; husband Leonard of 38 years marriage. Children;
Michelle (Randy) Osmond Port aux Basques, Leonard Jr. (Nikki) Springdale
NL, Joy Seymour (Kevin) Margaree, Corey of Port aux Basques. A loving
grandmother she will be forever missed by her grandchildren: Danica,
Shania, Victoria, Madison, Kaylin, Kevin. Her mother Mary Chaulk, brothers
and sisters; Leslie (Diane) Chaulk, Melvin (Ivy) Chaulk, Marcella (Eli)
Strickland all of Port aux Basques. Joyce (Melvin) Mauger Leduc Alberta,
and a large circle of brother's and sister's in law, nieces, nephews,
and many close friends. Visitation took place on Thursday and Friday

Matilda Tatlock (nee Vey) passed peacefully away at the Dr. Charles
L. Legrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques on October 29 at the age
of 90 years. She is predeceased by husbands Simeon Martin and Warren
Tatlock, sisters Ella (Fred) Starkley of Oakland, Ont., Ethel (Reginald)
Hicks of Lewisporte, NL., grandson Robert Crowley of Labrador City,
NL., brother Daniel (Rhetta) Vey of Grates Cove, NL. She is survived
by her daughters Ella (Grayson) Crowley of Riverview, N.B., Yvonne
(Joseph) Roberts of Port aux Basques, NL., sister-in-law Rhetta Vey
of Kelligrews, NL., and brothers-in-law Fred Starkey of Oakland, Ont.
and William Taylor of St. John's, NL. She also leaves to mourn 5
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and special friend John Anderson
and the many friends and loving and caring staff members at Mountain
Hope Manor in Port aux Basques. Funeral arrangements were in the care

of the late Howard and Jane Anderson. She was also predeceased by her
husband Matthew in 1987. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories
her family: children Howard (Josie), Sharon (Jerry and Sue), Matthew
Jr. (Joyce), Linda (Harry), Joanne (Jim), Donna (Bob), Margaret, Jocelyn,
Betty (Jim), 18 Grandchildren. 18 Great-grandchildren and a large circle
