BESSEY, Emuel Robert
(July 11, 1944 - April 8, 2006)

Passed away at C.N.R.H.C.C. Grand Falls - Windsor, April 8, 2006 Mr. Emuel Ronald Bessey of Laurenceton, age 61 years, His remains is resting at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte. Visitation wil be Sunday April 9, 2006 and Monday April 10, 2006 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2006 at 2:00pm from the House of God Church, New Bay Road, Grand Falls.
Obituary: Born in St. John's to William and Triffina Bessey. Most of his early childhood was spent in Main Brook. In 1955 his family moved to Laurenceton where he lived until he went to work in Goose Bay, where he met and married Florence Jenkins of Virgin Arm N.W.I. From that union came Nine Children. Then in 2000, Grandson Christopher, came to live with them. He will always be remembered and loved. Predeceased by: Father: William Bessey, Mother: Triffina Bessey, Son: Robert Bessey He leaves to mourn: His wife Florence Four Sons: Ronald (Lisa), Jason (Patti), Daniel (Kelly), Jotham Four Daughters; Marjorie (Martin), Roxanne (Darren), Faith (Blake), Terralyn 1 8 Grandchildren. Four Brothers: Tony (Marva), Leighton (Joan), Velnier (Irene), David (Norma), and Seven Sisters: Georgina (Wilson), Susie (Eric), Lorraine (Dennis), Lexie (Garry), Audrey (Bob), Lovlet (Bill), and Elsie.

BLACKWOOD, Minnie
(October 25, 1924 - April 16, 2006)
Passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital Gander NL, April 16, 2006, Ms. Minnie Blackwood formerly of Gambo, age 81 years. Her remains is resting at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 18, 2006 at 2:00pm from the United Church, Gambo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Socity will be gratefully accepted.
