ANSTEY, Mary
Passed on: September 14th, 2014

Passed away peacefully at Notre Dame Memorial Health Centre on Sept. 14, 2014, Mary Anstey aged 72 of Summerford, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her parents Eliol and Sarah Drover of Hodges Cove, two sisters Effie and Doreen, brother Lloyd and late husband Doyle. Leaving to mourn her husband John, four children, Christine (Joe), Troy (Connie), Sidney (Pauline) and Jeffrey (Donna), six grandchildren Matthew, Brittany, Jordan, Hillary, Dylan and Sarah, two stepchildren Sus-ann (Rex) and Steven (Alex) and two step-grandchildren, Evan and Eron. Mary also leaves her wonderful sisters and brothers, their children and grandchildren, as well as a wide circle of friends in Twillingate and Summerford.
Mary was a hard-working, kind woman who fostered relationships with others. She was loved and will be forever in our hearts.

- Passed away at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, Mrs. Irma Jean Pond, age 78 years of Lewisporte. She was predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Gladys Jones; husband, Norman; infant children, Mary Lou and Phillip. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Randy of Lewisporte, Norma (Wade Kean) of St. John's, Karen (Junior Freake) of Lewisporte; grandchildren, Michael Pond, Alison Smart (Victor), Melissa (Chris Brunette), Andrea Smart, Lauren Kean (Matt), Ian Smart (Brittany), Philip Kean (Krista), Emily Kean (Denys); great-grandchildren, Olivia Pond, Holden Brunette, Mason Brunette, Alessandro and Giancario Rosales; sister, Isabel England; brothers, Ross Jones (Jean), Ken Jones (Nicole) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. The funeral service took place from St. Matthew's United Church, Lewisporte on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor Branch would be gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main St., Lewisporte.
