MARRIAGES:

POWELL - HALL - On Feb. 8th, at the residence of Mrs. HALL, Whitbourne, by the Rev. J. C. SIDEY, Jno. Penney POWELL, to Isabel Elizabeth, youngest daughter of the late Richard HALL, of Harbor Grace.

DEATHS:

QUINN - Yesterday morning, of convulsions, David Francis, youngest child of Patrick and Margaret QUINN, aged 8 months.

RICE - Yesterday morning, Bridget, relict of the late Michael RICE, aged 85 years. Funeral on Friday at 2:30 p.m., from her late residence, Lime Street; friends will please accept this the only intimation.

CRAIG - At Liddesdale Farm, White Hills, St. John's, N.F., on the 8th inst., John CRAIG, aged 70 years, native of Kirkeubrightshire, Scotland. Funeral on Friday at 2:30 p.m., from farm; friends and acquaintences please attend.

BRAWDERS - Yesterday morning, after a short illness. Johanna BRAWDERS, aged 57 years, a native of Cape Broyle. Funeral on Friday at 2:30 p.m., from her late residence 30 Fleming Street; friends will please attend without further notice.

MARRIAGES:

KIELEY - WALSH - On Sunday night at Riverhead Convent Chapel, by the Rev. P. O'BRIEN, Mr. Edward KIELEY (grocer), to Kitty, daughter of Mrs. E. WALSH, of Rawlins' Cross.

MONAGNE - O'BRIEN - On Sunday at the Palace, by the Rev. Mons. SCOTT, Echnarel MONAGNE, of Tors Cove, to Mary J. O'BRIEN, of Bay Bulls.

DEATHS:

MOORE - Yesterday, Margaret Ann, relict of the late James MOORE, leaving four children to mourn their sad loss. Funeral on Wednesday, at 2:30 from her late residence, Southside (west of bridge).

WALSH - On Sunday, after a long illness, Stephen WALSH (carpenter), aged 76 years. Funeral to-morrow (Tuesday), at 7:30 p.m., from his late residence, No. 18 Bond Street; friends and relatives will please attend without further notice.

MEEHAN - At St. Mary's, Dec. 20th, Mary, second daughter of Daniel and Mary MEEHAN.

ENGLISH - On the 8th inst., at Job's Cove, Conception Bay, Patrick ENGLISH, an old and respected inhabitant of the above place, in the 78th year of his age.

POWER - On February 12th, of paralysis, Margaret, relict of the late John POWER (carpenter), leaving two daughters to mourn their sad loss. Funeral on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., from her late residence 2 Young Street. Friends are requested to attend without further notice.

GALLIHER - Last evening, after a short illness, Patrick GALLIHER, aged 40 years; funeral on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., from his brother-in-law's residence, 23 Duggan Street. Friends please accept this the only intimation.

MARRIAGES:

SIMMS - OLSEN - At Brooklyn, New York, on Jan. 31st, at St. Peter's Church, by the Rev Fr. FITZGERALD, Mr. Daniel SIMMS, Chief Engineer of this city, to Lizzie OLSEN, of New York.

DEATHS:

SKIRVING - At the Southside on Monday, Robert Taylor Brown, aged 6 2 months, youngest son of David and Fanny SKIRVING.

EBSARY - On 13th inst., of bronchitis, Nelly Williams, infant daughter of Georgina and Arthur EBSARY, aged 6 months.

HILLYARD - Yesterday after a long and painful illness, Patrick HILLYARD, aged 42 years, leaving a mother, wife and 5 children to mourn their sad loss. Funeral on Thursday, at 2:30 p.m. from his late residence, Barnes Place. Friends and acquaintences are invited to attend without further notice.
