as Vice-Consul of the United States at St. John's for Newfoundland and Labrador.

Under the provisions of Chapter 121 of the Consolidated Statutes (Third Series) entitled "Of the Solemnization of Marriages" His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to issue a Licence to perform the Marriage Ceremony to: -

Reverend Cyril W. FOGGO, B.A., B.D., representing the United Church of Canada while on service with the Canadian Army in Newfoundland.

Information has been received from the United Kingdom Air Liaison Mission that No. 798731 William Pius HENNESSEY, Grand Falls, has been selected for a commission in the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve with effect from 9th October, 1942.

Information has been received from the Trade Commissioner for Newfoundland, London, that Seaman Frederick Llewellyn ROWSELL, JX299574, Royal Navy, of Corner Brook, has been commissioned as Sub-Lieutenant 9th October, 1942.

STATUTORY NOTICE

In the matter of the Estate of the The Honourable George Aubrey BARTLETT, late of Burin in the Electoral District of Burin in the Island of Newfoundland, General Merchant, deceased.

All persons claiming to be creditors of or who have any claims or demands upon or affecting the Estate of The Honourable George Aubrey Bartlett, late of Burin aforesaid, General Merchant, deceased, are required to send particulars of same, in writing, duly attested, to Thomas LeFeuvre of Burin aforesaid, Retired Merchant, Administrator C.T.A., D.B.N., of the Estate of the said deceased, on or before the 26th day of October, A.D. 1942, after which date the Administrator C.T.A., D.B.N., will proceed to distribute the Estate of the said deceased, having regard only to the claims of which he shall then have had notice.
