STONE, MARTHA WHITTY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martha Whitty Stone announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex, Springdale on April 1, 2004 at the age of 86. Martha was a member of the ACW (Anglican Church Women) and the Royal Canadian Legion. Predeceased by husband John Whitty; infant son William Whitty; second husband Clement Stone; granddaughter Rose Ann Knight and son-in-law Edwin Pynn. Left with fond and loving memories are son John Whitty, Fort McMurray; daughters Nellie Pynn, Springdale, Hannah Knight (Donald), Grand Falls-Windsor, Gladys Kinght (Harvey), Corner Brook and Fran MacIntyre (Lloyd), Grand Falls-Windsor; stepchildren Clifford Stone (Jane) and Ena Stone and families. Also leaving to mourn sisters Dolly Miller and Elfreda Webster (George); brothers James McGrath and Witfield McGrath (Nina); 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; also special niece Sarah Cooper. Rev Dennis Newhook and Rev Roy Martin conducted the funeral service at St. Alban's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor on April 3, 2004. Organist was Ed Phillips. Pallbearers were Jerry Pynn, Dwayne Pynn, Johnathon Bragg, Jim Maloney, James Cater and Eugene Toope.

YOUNG, DULCIE NETA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dulcie Neta Young announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale on April 2, 2004 at the age of 83. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Herbert; sons Russell (Dallas), Morris (Marjorie); Wayne Darlene) and Neil (Louise) all of Springdale; daughters Caren (Lloyd) and Patricia (Rudy) both of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn brother Chesley Anstey; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Rev. Robbins conducted the funeral service at the Central Funeral Home, Springdale on April 5, 2004. Interment was at the Untied Church Cemetery, Springdale. Pallbearers were sons Russell, Morris, Wayne and Neil and grandsons Steven and Chad.

GILLINGHAM, ETHEL MARY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Mary Gillingham, age 91, announce her passing at the BVHC, Baie Verte on Thursday, April 8, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Edmund; two sons; one daughter; granddaughter Nicole Barker and brothers Chesley Rice and Leander Rice. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Chris (Grace), Westport, Hubert (Jeanette), Gander, Leander (Christine), Westport, Wilson (Patricia), Westport, Clarence (Cecilla), Baie Verte and adopted son Melvin (Lelani), Corner Brook; daughters Shirley Davis (Melvin), Westport, Olive Barker (Ron), Baie Verte and Doris Jacobs (Wallace), Westport. Also leaving to mourn brother Donald Rice (Gilda), sisters Ellen Rideout (Woodrow) and Maude Abbott (Richard) all of Seal Cove; 22 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. David Russell conducted the funeral services at St. Peter's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Westport on Sunday. April 11, 2004. Pallbearers were Chris Jacobs, Rex Jacobs, Grogan Ricketts, Bill Hurley, Fred Burton and Cluney Ricketts.

WHITEHORNE, LLOYD GEORGE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd George Whitehorne announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex, Springdale on April 9, 2004 at the age of 70. Lloyd was a member of Grace United Church and retired from his family business in 1997. Predeceased by parents George and Maude; sisters Roslind, Muriel and Dorothy and brother Neil. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Shirley; sons Carl, Springdale and Chris (Denna), Grand Falls-Windsor; daughters Jo-ann (Brian Vincent), Springdale, Kathryn, Springdale and Patricia, Oshawa, ON. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren Steven Whitehorne, Andrea Newbury, Nicholas and Nathan Whitehorne; great grandchild Douglas Whitehorne; sisters Nina Hatcher and Joyce Pye, sister-in-law Hallie Whitehorne and a large number of nieces and nephews. Rev. Betty Robbins conducted the funeral services at the Grace United Church and Cemetery on Monday, April 12, 2004

WISEMAN, GERALD A.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald A. Wiseman announce his passing at his home in Little Bay Islands on April 10, 2004 at the of 84 years. Gerald was a member of the United Church Board and LOL Lodge. Gerald retired from Jones Ltd. and Green Bay Transport. Predeceased by mother and father, brother Wallace and one son. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Mary. Also leaving to mourn brothers Neil (Ruby) and Allison; three sisters Myrtice, Rita and Dorothy Mardon). Beverly Snow conducted the funeral service at the United Church and Cemetery, Little Bay Islands on April 13, 2004. Pallbearers were Arron Edgecombe, Wincel Oxford, Howard Weir, Cyril Oxford, Roy Weir and George Wiseman

DECKER, ELEAZER G.
Passed peacefully away on April 13, 2004, Eleazer G. Regular formerly of Ming's Bight at the A. M. Guy Memorial Hospital, Buchans. He was 98 years of age and retired from the lumberwoods. Predeceased by first wife Helen; five brothers and five sisters Left to mourn are wife Alice; daughter Viola (Ross Sacrey), Ming's Bight; grandson Chris Sacrey (Hazel); granddaughter Pam Smith (Andy); two great grandchildren Holly and Amanda. Capts. Stephen and Erika White conducted the funeral services at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery, Ming's Bight on Friday, April 16, 2004. Pallbearers were Manuel Decker, Dave Decker, Hubert Sacrey, McKenley Sacrey, Harold Regular and Vaden Regular.

ENGLAND, GEORGE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late George England, age 83, announce his passing at Middle Arm on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 Predeceased by parents William and Elizabeth England; first wife Flossie; second wife Levinia; sisters Hazel Winsor (Wesley), Margaret Osmond (Leo), Gladys Knight (Ward) and Susie Dicks (Merrick); brothers Herbert (Ivy), Earl, Harvey, and Donald and brother-in-law Derek Kirby. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Ivy Austin (Hayward), Middle Arm, Annie Lush (Carl) and Myrtle Matthews (Alex) all of Burlington; sons Donald (Hazel), Middle Arm and Gary (Gail Mitchell), Woodstock; sisters Ella Senior (Peter), Marystown and Annie Kirby, Silverdale; brother Caleb (Margaret), Harry's Hr; step-sons Frederick Welshman (Maisie), La Scie and Ernest Welshman (Gertie), Capelle, NB and step-daughter Jeanette Welshman, ON; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Bobby Noble, Lyndon Austin, Tia England, Bobby Welshman, Brent England and Garland England.

TOMS, MABEL ELIZABETH
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mabel Elizabeth Toms announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre on April 14, 2004 surrounded by her family at the age of 86. Mabel was a member of the United Church Women and the Salvation Army Home League. Predeceased by first husband Augustus Toms and second husband Edgar Sharpe. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Harold Toms (Ruby), Corner Brook and Lloyd Toms (Audine), Alberta; daughters Viola Goodyear (Eugene), Grand Falls-Windsor, Betty House (Lionel), King's Point and Phyllis Penney (Barry), Manitoba and half brother Ralph (Annie). Also leaving to mourn 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Rev. Lodge conducted the funeral service at the United Church on April 17. 2004. Interment was at the King's Point Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were Quinten House, Jason Penney, David Toms, Paul Toms, Kent Toms and Danny Toms.

WARREN, VIOLA MAY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Viola May Warren, age 71, announce her passing at her family residence, La Scie on Thursday, April 15, 2004. Predeceased by parents Maxwell and Flossie Critch; parents-in-law George and Martha Warren; brother Freeman Critch; brother-in-law Pearce Warren (Loretta) and sister-in-law Cherrie Bragg (John). Left with fond and loving memories are husband Randolph; daughter Paula Warren, La Scie; sons Larry (Lorraine), Springdale, Maxwell (Kathryn), Halifax, NS and Douglas (Michelle), La Scie. Also leaving to mourn sister Lily Budgell (James), La Scie; brothers Sandy (Judy), Bert (Ethel) and Randy (Jeanette) all of La Scie; sisters-in-law Alberta Hamlyn (Ches), Twillingate, Gertie White (Harold), Salmon Cove, Geraldine Hamlyn (Waldo), Stony Creek, ON and Lillian Critch, La Scie; grandchildren Sherry Gray (Justin), Bedford, NS, Michael Warren, Cambridge, ON, Angela Warren, St. John's and Claudia Warren, La Scie; great grandchild Joshua Gray and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Capts. Stan and Debbie Higdon conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, La Scie on Sunday, April 18, 2004. Pallbearers were Maxwell Warren, Warick Randell, Clayton Bennett, Garland Ward, Lewis Fudge and George Butt.

MARTIN, MICHAEL CHESLEY Jr.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Chesley Martin Jr., age 50, announce his passing at his family residence in Baie Verte on Friday, April 30, 2004. Predeceased by sister Jane Martin; father-in-law George Butt and brother-in-law Bernard Whalen. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Marion; children Jason (Carrie Vivalo), Florida and daughter Michelle, Baie Verte; parents Michael and Theresa Martin, Baie Verte; siblings Aloysius (Thelma), Lloydminister, SK, Joan Whalen, Niagara Falls, ON, Tom (Vanda), Grand Falls-Windsor and Mabel Bixby (Clarence), Stag Hr; mother-in-law Edith Butt, Badger many brother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws; a large number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and special friends. Father Tom Duffenais conducted the funeral mass at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte on Monday, May 3, 2004. Pallbearers were Jason Martin, Dave Butt, Aloysius Martin, Don Furey, Clarence Bixby, Foss Kendall and the crossbearer was Adonis Martin.
