It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pleman Freeman Burton of South Brook, announce his peaceful passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on February 7, 2001. Mr. Burton retired from logging in 1986. Predeceased by: his wife Phoebe; daughter Effie; brother Timothius and sisters Alfreda and Evangeline. Lester had a long and busy career as an entrepreneur, engaged in several enterprises such as a taxi business at Grand Falls and Nitewell Factories at Jackson's Cove. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Wellman and brother Charlie.
