INDER, JENNIE MAXINE,
SPRINGDALE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jennie Maxine Inder announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Centre, Springdale on February 2, 2002 at the age of 62. Jennie retired from nursing in 1992 from Western Memorial hospital. Predeceased by her mother and father, Olive and Dexter Inder and sister Patricia Haynes. Left with fond and loving memories is sister Pauline Inder. Also leaving to mourn are nephews Hans (Anne), Springdale, Greg (Glenda), Springdale, Roger (Brenda), St. John's and Rob (Anne Louise), Guelph, ON; one niece Jennie (Robert), St. John's; many more relatives and a large circle of friends. Rev. Marion Davis conducted the funeral service at the Central Funeral Home on Monday, February 4, 2002. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery.

KELLEY, WILLIAM GEORGE,
SILVERDALE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late William George Kelley, age 75, announce his passing at the Escasoni Complex, St. John's on Saturday, February 2, 2002. Mr. Kelley retired from the Dept. of Highways in 1986. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Velma; sons George (Iris), Silverdale, Earl (Sandra) Upper Gullies and Christopher (Anita), Grand Manan, NB; Daughters Barbara (Ronald Gillard), Harry's Hr and Rose (Dave Warren), Windsor, NS; sisters Madeline and Irene; brothers Herman, Allan and Frank; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Lodge conducted the funeral service at the United Church, Jackson's Cove on Monday, February 4, 2002. Interment was at the Jackson's Cove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Selby Knight, Bond Batstone, Roger Wheeler, Les Prowse, Harry Knight and Ross Osmond.

TUCKER, MELVIN JOHN,
KING'S POINT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvin John Tucker announce his passing at the Grand Falls Hospital, Grand Falls-Windsor on February 7, 2002 at the age of 67. Melvin retired from fishing. Predeceased by his parents John and Cinderella Tucker. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Joyce; son Winston (Sue-Ann), King's Point and daughter Monique (friend William), King's Point. Also leaving to mourn are sister Golda (Harold) and Phyllis (Claude); three nieces; six nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Lodge with the help of Pastor Head and Captain Young conducted the funeral service at the United Church on February 10, 2002. Interment was at the King's Point Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don May, Roy Richards, Robert Thomas, Frank Squires, Raymond Noble and Harvey Andrews.

HAMLYN, NERISSA,
LA SCIE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nerissa Hamlyn announce her passing at the Valley Vista, Springdale on February 7, 2002 at the age of 74. Nerissa retired from National Sea. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Rowena Burton; brothers Oswald and Reginald and sister Ruby. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Reginald; sons Scott (Diane), Doyles, Hedley (Olive), Leaf Rapids, MB and Larry (Lucy), Springdale; daughters Bonnie (Roy), Springdale and Beth (Edward), Nipper's Hr. Also leaving to mourn are Bernice Greenham, La Scie; Dorman Burton, Lewisporte; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Rev. Kean conducted the funeral service at the United Church on February 9, 2002. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Gray, Junior Gray, Ernest Curtis, John Hoddinott and Brian Martin.

WHITE, ERNEST JOHN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest John White announce his passing at the Springdale Hospital on February 13, 2002, at the age of 76. Mr. White retired from the Department of Highways. Predeceased by his wife Julie. Left with fond and loving memories are: sons Kevin (Donna), Gary (Tassie), Walter, George, and Aurelle (Betty) all of Pilley's Island and Francis (Sylvia), Mary's Hr, Lab.; daughters Christine Lush (Leonard) and Valerie Roberts (Michael) both of Triton. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren, great grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters. Captain B. Hopkins conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Pilley's Island on February 17, 2002. Interment was at the Spencer's Dock Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marc, Dwayne, David, Stanley, Jeffrey and Deanne.

CRITCH, MARK E.,
SPRINGDALE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mark E. Critch announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on February 14, 2002 at the age of 85. Mark was a member of the Salvation Army Corps and Men's Fellowship. Predeceased by his mother Susanna, father John; daughter Fanny, son-in-law John and brother Hedley. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Elsie; sons Selby (Jessie), La Scie, Lloyd (Georgina), Kitchener, ON, Austin (Beverly), St. John's and Robert, Springdale; daughters Jean (Wayne), Springdale, Tina (Guy), Corner Brook, Sharon (Roger), Springdale, Georgina, Ottawa, ON and Ruby, Wetaskawin, AB. Also leaving to mourn are: brother Nathan and wife Sharon; sister Georgina and husband Lloyd; 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and a large circle of friends. Major Butt conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church on February 17, 2002. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Burton, Lloyd Critch, Austin Critch, Brian Clark, Chris Clark and Norman Dicks.

HANCOCK, SARAH OLIVIA ROSE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Olivia Rose Hancock announce her passing at the Etobicoke General Hospital, Mississauga, ON on February 20, 2002 at the age of four years and 11 months. Left with fond and loving memories are parents Marvin and Rose Hancock; brother Joey; grandparents Muriel Hancock, South Brook and Ruby Stroud, Grand Falls-Windsor and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Pastor Vanzel Quinlan conducted the funeral service at the Apostolic Church on February 24, 2002. Interment was at the Apostolic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Suzanne Quinlan, Rosanna Parsons, Jessica Shiner, Nikita Huxter and Serena Shiner.

GREEN, ROY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Green, age 62, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Health Centre on Thursday, February 28, 2002. Roy was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church and served as Men's Fellowship President for the past few years. Predeceased by his wife Sadie; parents Chesley and Martha; brother Clayton and sister Eileen Gilley. Left to forever cherish their wonderful memories are daughter Wanda, Untch, Michigan and son Scott Green, Baie Verte; brothers Whitfield (Betty), Toronto, ON and Edward (Nellie), Springdale; sister-in-law Joyce Green, Burlington; brother-in-law Phil Gilley, Deer Lake and a large circle of other relatives and special friends. Pastor Robert Parsons conducted the funeral service at the Trinity Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte on Sunday, March 3, 2002. Pallbearers were Clifford Gale, Harris Moores, George Maye, Clarence Burton, Kevin Regular and Kent Bailey.

FREAKE, JEAN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Freake announce her passing at the Springdale Hospital on February 28, 2002 at the age of 71. Mrs. Freake was a member of the United Church. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Nelson Freake and sons Kevin (Donna), Dartmouth, NS and Karl (Cecilia), Calgary, AB. Also leaving to mourn: Ryan and Matthew (grandchildren; Ralph Starkes (brother); Stella Starkes, Mable Starkes and Muriel Starkes. Rev. Lodge conducted the funeral service at the United Church, Harry's Hr. on March 3, 2002. Interment was at the Harry's Hr. Community Cemetery. PAllbearers were baxter Freake, Rex Freake, Colin Starkes, David Starkes, Geoff Freake and Glenn Freake
