ROBERTS, BETTY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Roberts announce her passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on January 11, 2002 at the age of 67. Predeceased by mother Gertie Roberts and father Samuel Roberts; three brothers Dorman, Lemuel and Ronald and brother-in-law Ralph Winsor. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Tena Roberts, Triton, Leona (Don House), Corner Brook, Julie Buchloze, Illinois, USA and Pauline (Jerry Boytt), Alberta. Also leaving to mourn sister Lottie Winsor; brothers Winston (Pearl) and Amos (Sadie) and three grandchildren. Capt. Colbourne conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery, Triton on January 14, 2002. Pallbearers were Gilbert Winsor, Kevin Winsor, Ivan Roberts, Granville Roberts, Garett Roberts and Jason Roberts.

KNIGHT, ELSIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Knight announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center, Springdale on January 15, 2003 at the age of 76 years. Elsie was a member of the U.C.W. and retired from Canada Post and teaching. Predeceased by parents Robert and Fanny Dawe and son John. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Leslie and son Robert (Lila Rumbolt), Grande Cache, AB. Also leaving to mourn three brothers Lester Dawe, Aubrey Dawe (Evelyn) and Bryce Dawe (Tassie); two grandchildren Danny Knight and Roberta King and two great grandchildren C. J. and Morgan King. Rev. Russell Lodge conducted the funeral service at the United Church, Jackson's Cove on Saturday, January 18, 2003. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery, Jackson's Cove. Pallbearers were Bryce Dawe, Lester Dawe, Aubrey Dawe, Robert Knight, Neil Knight and Gerald Pelley.

BUDGELL, FLORENCE, MIDDLE ARM
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Budgell, age 85, announce her passing at the BVPHC on Sunday, January 19, 2003 Predeceased by her first husband Charlie Thomas; daughter Beryl Walsh; parents Theophus and Famble Saunders; brothers Meanus and Chesley and sisters Pearl Andrews and Jessie Tilley. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Samuel; sons Ronald Thomas (MAry), Antigonish, NS, Cecil Thomas (Blanche), Burlington, Enos Thomas, Kitchener, ON; Roger Budgell (Bertha) and Francis Budgell (Penny) both of Middle Arm; Daughters Nina Lush (Lester), Burlington, Verna Walsh (Hayward), Baie Verte and Gertie Welshman (Ernest), Capelle, NB; stepson Robert Thomas; stepdaughter Motie Giles; son-in-law Fred Walsh; daughter-in-law Irene Thomas; sister Grace Randell; 27 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Frank Pollard conducted the funeral service at Truth Tabernacle and Cemetery, Middle Arm on Wednesday, January 22, 2003. Pallbearers were Hayward Walsh, Brian Welshman, Daniel Cormier, Morris Chipp, Jack Prowse and Marvin Prowse.

BOYLES, PATRICIA, SOUTH BROOK
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patricia Boyles announce her passing at her home in South Brook on January 20, 2003 at the age of 64. Patricia was a member of the Apolostic Faith Church. Predeceased by daughter Darline; mother and father Minnie and Fred Newman. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Lloyd; sons Wade, Richmond Hill, O, Dennis (Sylvia), Nova Scotia and James of South Brook; daughters Gertie (Gordon), South Brook, Cindy, Ontario and Suzanne, Nfld. Also leaving to mourn sister Geraldine; brothers Eugene, james and Ford; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pastor Fred Randell conducted the funeral service at the Apolostic Faith Church, South Brook on january 23, 2003. Interment was at the Apolostic Faith Cemetery. Pallbearers were Trent Newman, Terry Croucher, Eric Burton, Gideon Burton, Dwight Fifield and Archie morey

RICE, SELBY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Selby Rice announce his passing at York Finch Hospital, Toronto on January 27, 2003. Selby was a member of the Salvation Army and retired from the City of York. Predeceased by wife Minnie; father Sidney and mother Emma. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Ivy; sons Jim (Prudy), Labrador City, Vincent (Lilly), Robert's Arm and Pierce Oake (Stepson); daughters Judy (Dave), Cox's Cove; stepdaughters Jean Mauti (Carlo), Beverly Oake (Eath) and Mildred Oake. Also leaving to mourn brothers Bram (Margaret), Leonard and William (Christine); sisters Mabel and Marie; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Capt. Blaine Hopkins conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army, Robert's Arm on January 31, 2003. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Anthony, Fred Colbourne, Gord Roberts, Woodrow Fudge, Ray Warr and Otto Rice.

VINCENT, RICKY FRANK
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rick Vincent announce his passing on Monday, January 27, 2003 at the Port Arthur General Hospital, Thunder Bay, ON in his 55th year. Mr. Vincent was a industrial millwright mechanic in the mining industry in Manitoba and Ontario and a stalwart supporter of his church and community. Predeceased by mother Idella (Ryan) Vincent in 1983 and father James N. Vincent in 1993. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 33 years Daphne, Manitouwade, ON; sons Blake (Chantale), Manitouwade, ON and Cory, Red Deer, AB and two cherished granddaughters Emily and Amy. He will be sadly missed by brother Dr. Cluney Vincent (Fern), Corner Brook; sisters Phyllis Vincent (Gordon), Corner Brook, Margaret Fudge (Arthur), Triton, Major Frances Goulding (David), London, ON, Major Donna Goulding (John), Calgary, AB and Inez Blackmore (Peter), Labrador City. Also leaving to mourn are three sisters-in-law Betty Parsons (Fred), Robert's Arm, Lorraine Curlew (Albert), Manitouwadge, ON and Faye LeDrew, Stephenville; his mother-in-law Jane LeDrew, Robert's Arm and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Capts. Edward and Rose Canning conducted the funeral service on Monday, February 3, 2003 at the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Robert's Arm. Pallbearers were Corey Vincent, Jerry Vincent, Randy Vincent, Don Budgell, Derrick Anthony and Mike Parsons.
