HENSTRIDGE, PAUL
passed away peacefully on June 12, 2004, Paul Henstridge at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor at the age of 41 years. Predeceased by brother Dennis. He was the beloved son of Hedley and Ethel Henstridge, Badger. Also leaving to mourn his brother David and family and a large circle of other relatives and friends especially his extended family the staff of "Bill's and Paul's CLA. Funeral service was held at Badger Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, June 15, 2004. Pallbearers were Allan Roberts. Oral Roberts, Brian Henstridge, Monty Henstridge, Wayne Davis and Alvin Ball.

PENNEY, ARTHUR GEORGE
Passed away June 13, 2004 after a lengthy illness Arthur George Penney at the Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook. He was 62 years of age. Mr. Penney was a driller/blaster/miner for most of his life. Predeceased by parents Doris and Arthur Penney and infant brother. Left to mourn his close friend Rhona Penney; sons Chris (Megan), Kingston, ON and Billy, Toronto, ON and daughter Kerri, Toronto, ON. Also leaving to mourn sisters Bonnie, Pauline,Doreen, Eileen and Rhonda; brothers Roy, Eugene, Barry, Dennis, Derek, Ronnie and Glen; grandchildren Jasmine and Haley; in-laws Bert and Gladys Paddock; brother-in-law Ford and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Gary Butt conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery, Springdale on June 17, 2004. Pallbearers were Chris Penney (son), Bill Penney (son), Kerrie Penney (daughter), Dick Grant (brother-in-law), Ronnie Penney (brother) and Bert Paddock (father-in-law)

TILLEY, CYRIL JOHN (JACK)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril John (Jack) Tilley announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale on June 15, 2004 at the age of 80 years. John was a member of the Notre Dame Masonic lodge, Springdale. Predeceased by parents Annabelle and Augustus; sisters Jean and Marguerite and brothers Roy, Edward, Augustus and Scott. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Jean; son David, Jackson's Cove; daughters Kaye Jackson (Ken), Springdale, Glenys Tilley (Lew Piercey), Lewisporte, Sharon Whitehorne (Brian), Springdale and Angela Clarke (Rudy), Springdale. Also leaving to mourn sisters Nina Silk (Hiram), Eileen Finnin (Tom), Olive Fudge (Ralph), Mabel Starkes (Ralph), Greta Osbourne (Warrick), Joan Randell (Eric) and Elsie Crewe (Terry); one brother Frank Tilley (Joan); grandchildren Lee, Mark, Susan, Julie, Daniel, Megan and Adam. Rev A. R. Brett and Rev. R. Lockyer conducted the funeral service from St. Luke's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Springdale on June 18, 2004. Pallbearers were David Normore, Byron Noble, Bruce White, Larry Moss, Oliver White and Hardy Sparkes.

LOCKE, MARGARET (RITA)
Passed peacefully away on Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex, Springdale Margaret (Rita) Locke in her 90th year. Predeceased by husband Cyril in 1996. Leaving to mourn daughters Shirley (Carl) Moores, Daphne (Ed) Blanford, Beverley (David) Daley and son Father Laurie Locke; eight grandchildren Stephen, Shawn and Sheldon Winsor; Craig, Kent and Chris Blanford; John and Susan Daley; 10 great grandchildren; sister Ruby Boyd and Maxine (John) Saunders and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral was from the Grace United Church, Springdale at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2004.

ADAMS, JOHN REX
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Rex Adams announce his passing on June 23, 2004 at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale at the age of 76. Rex was a member of the United Church, Rattling Brook and retired from the Department of Forestry as a Forest Ranger in 1989. Predeceased by his parents Willis and Hilda Adams and sister Marjorie. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Reta (nee Foster), Rattling Brook; sons Harry (Ivy), Rattling Brook, Harold (Glenda), Toronto, ON, Alvin (Shirley), Springdale, Guy (Eurie), Rattling Brook, Hedley (Karen), Conception Bay South and Dwight (Susan), Springdale. Also leaving to mourn sisters Myrtle, Victoria and Elaine; brothers Augustus and Rick; grandchildren Kathy, Chad, Troy, Kimberly, Angela, Steven, Rebecca, John, Neil, Christina and Jermy; great grandchildren Timothy, Kendyl, Colin and Emily and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Russell Lodge conducted the funeral service at the United Church, Rattling Brook on Friday, June 25, 2004. Interment was at the interfaith Cemetery, King's Point. Pallbearers were sons Harry, Harold, Alvin, Guy, Hedley and Dwight.

PARSONS, RALPH ROY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Roy Parsons announce his passing at the Escasoni Complex, St. John's on June 26, 2004 at the age of 63. Predeceased by father Ralph Parsons; brothers Alexander and Neville. Leaving to mourn mother Ethel Pearl Rice; sisters Eveline (Cyril) Morey and Margaret (Paul) Roberts; brothers Cyril (Joyce) and Stephen (Marlene). Also leaving to mourn are nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends and his extended family the staff and residents of the Escasoni Complex. Pastor W. Noble conducted the funeral service at the Word of life Tabernacle on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Deborah Winsor, Carolyn Morey-Shiner, Georgette parsons, Mary Roberts, Suzette Winsor and nephew Wallace Morey.

KENNEDY, JOHN THOMAS "JACK"
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Thomas "Jack" Kennedy, age 83, announce his passing at his family residence in Coachman's Cove on Saturday, June 26 2004. Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Margaret Kennedy; brothers Joseph and Frank and sister Gertrude Hurley. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Mary Margaret; children Regina Callahan (Kevin), Fort McMurray, AB, Cletus (Jaunita), Baie Verte, Diane Corbett (Edward), Fort McMurray, AB and Paul (Vicki Michard) Moncton, NB; grand children Valerie and Sean Callahan, Shawn and Christopher Kennedy, Amanda, Pamela and Laura-Lee Corbett; siblings Mary Lerense, Bess Bryan, Kit Power (Humphrey), Jim, Anastasia Philpott, Nicholas Kennedy (Theresa); sister-in-law Myrtle Kennedy and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Tom Duffenais conducted the funeral mass at our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic and Cemetery, Coachman's Cove on Wednesday, June 30, 2003. Pallbearers were Cletus Kennedy, Shawn Kennedy, Paul Kennedy, Eddie Kennedy, Nicholas Kennedy, and Jim Kennedy and the crossbearers were Regina Callahan and Diane Corbett.
