GOULDING, JENNIFER MARLYNN ( nee Young )
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Jennifer Marlynn
Goulding (Young) announce her passing at the Sunny Brook Hospital in Toronto, Ont. on
June 7, 2005 at the age of 28. Jennifer was a member of the Peoples Church. Jennifer
worked at the Humber River Regional Hospital. Left with fond and loving memories
are husband, Verdell Goulding of Toronto, Ont.; Parents, Cameron and Golda Young
of Springdale, NL; father in law and mother in law, Sherman and Judy Goulding
of Grand Falls/Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn brothers, Peter Young (Delores)
of Springdale, NL; Trevor Young (Deila) of Grand Falls/Windsor, NL; nieces, Jasmyne,
Beth, and nephew Rylie and a large circle of friends and relatives. Pastors Edwin
Rideout and Paul Foster conducted the funeral service at the Springdale Pentecostal
Church on June 11, 2005. Interment was at the Springdale Pentecostal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Verdell Goulding, Sheldon Goulding, Peter Young, Trevor Young,
Jonathan Noel and Mark Peters.
ROBBINS, WESLEY JAMES
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Wesley James
Robbins announce his passing at Truro, NS. on June 7,
2005 at the age of 62 while
he and Betty were on vacation. Wes was a member of the St. James Anglican
Church, Botwood, NL. Wes enjoyed skiing, swimming, walking, weight training,
cooking and gardening. Twelve years ago he retired from Botwood Collegiate
were he taught high school biology. Left with fond and loving memories are
wife, Betty Robbins; sons, Jimmy Robbins of Nelson, BC, George Robbins of
St. John's, NL. Also leaving to mourn parents, George and Lucy Robbins of
Springdale, NL; sister, June (Esau Hewlett) of Port Anson, NL. and a large
circle of friends and relatives. Rev. David Coffin conducted the funeral
service at St. James Anglican Church on June 11, 2005. Committal service
was done by Rev. Mildred Tobin, Ms. Barbara Noble and the Rev. Betty Robbins.
Interment was at the United Cemetery, Port Anson. NL. Pallbearers were Jimmy
Robbins, George Robbins, Wally Gosse, Carl Knight, Bert Knight and Selby
Knight.
SIMMS ETHEL IRENE (nee Rice)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Irene Simms
(nee Rice) announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home, Springdale
on June 9, 2005 at the age of 80. Mrs. Simms was a member of the Salvation Army
Citadel, Pilley's Island. Predeceased by husband, Bronzell; daughter Pauline
and infant son. Left with fond and loving memories are sons, Ernest (Ruth), Pilley's
Island, Con (Dorothy), Manuels CBS, Chesley (Viola), Pilley's Island; daughters,
Elsie (Rex Short), Robert's Arm, Bride (Pearce Osmond), Pilley's Island, Gladys
(Ambrose Short), Red Deer, AB. Also leaving to mourn brother Harold Rice (Lillian);
Brother in law, Charles Weir; sisters, Mae Anthony, Pearl Butcher, Melvina Pond;
12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a large number of nieces and nephews
and a large circle of friends and relatives. Major Frank Johnson conducted the
funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Pilley's Island on June 12, 2005.
Interment was at the United Cemetery, Pilley's Island. Pallbearers were Grandchildren-
Jason, Travis, Hughie, Faye, Bonnie and Laura.
DICKS, FREDERICK GEORGE
Passed
away June 16, 2005 after a lengthy illness Frederick

Esasconi Complex, St. John's. He was 64 years of age. Predeceased by parents
Ida and Pearce Dicks; twin sister Juanita and sister Molly. Leaving to mourn
sisters Golda Ward. La Scie, Neta Butt (Sam), Glovertown, Irene Bean, St. John's
and Verbena (Raymond), La Scie; special aunt Neta Martin, Grand Falls-Windsor
and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Capt. Arley Masters conducted
the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery, La Scie on June
19, 2005. Pallbearers were Sam Butt, Raymond Winsor, Ross Dicks, Brent Haas,
Danielle Boone and Todd Andrews.
DECKER, ALICE MARY
Passed peacefully away June 21, 2005, Alice Mary Decker at the Residential Care Unit, Baie Verte. She was 86 years of age. Predeceased
by husband Eleazer; mother and father; sister and three brothers. Leaving to
mourn daughter Viola (Ross Sacrey), Ming's Bight; grandson Chris Sacrey (Hazel);
granddaughter Pam Smith (Andy) and great grandchildren Holly and Amanda. Also
leaving to mourn sisters Gladys (Chesley Regular), Ella (Gordon Clarke) and
brothers Ernest Regular (Lydia), Eleazer Regular(Mary), Leander Regular (Elsie)
and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Captain and Mrs. D. Chaulk
conducted the funeral service at the Salvation army Citadel and Cemetery, Ming's
Bight on June 23, 2005 Pallbearers were David Decker, Ron Decker, Winston Regular,
Sidney Clarke, Scott Rice and McKenley Sacrey.

at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre on Tuesday, June 21, 2005. Predeceased
by wife Viola; parents George and Martha Warren; parents-in-law Maxwell and
Flossie Critch; brother Pearce (Loretta); sister Cherrie Bragg (John) and brother-in-law
Freeman Critch. Left with fond and loving memories are daughter Paula Warren,

Douglas (Michelle), La Scie. Also leaving to mourn sisters Alberta Hamlyn,

White, Paul Bursey and son Maxwell Warren. The apron bearer was Job Parsons.
WHITE IRIS PATSY MARIE ( nee Williams )
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Iris Patsy Marie
White announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in
Stephenville, NL. on June 22, 2005 at the age of 63. Predeceased
by husband, Hughie White & parents Roger& Mae
Williams. Left with fond and loving memories are brothers, Roy Williams (Ada)
of Triton, NL; Ross Williams (Joy) of Waterloo,Ontario; sisters, Joan (Edmund
Whelan) of Triton, NL; Shirley (Bruce Moore)of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Marilyn
(Brian Stewart) of Toronto, Ontario; & Maunda of Toronto, Ontario.Also

Major Rex Colbourne, and assisted by Pastor Glen Chaulk, conducted the funeral
service at the Salvation Army Citadel on June 25, 2005. Interment was at
the Triton Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Roy Williams (brother), Edmund Whelan
(brother-in-law), Bruce Moore (brother-in-law), Roy Winsor (cousin), Max
Williams (cousin), Wilmore Newman(cousin).
RIDEOUT PLEMAN PEARCE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pleman Pearce
Rideout announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre,
Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. on June 22, 2005 at the age of 75. Pleman was
a member if the United Church in King's Point and was the church organist
for seven years. He was also the organist in Nipper's Harbour for thirty
five years. Pleman retired from Northeast Enterprises in Nipper's Harbour.
Predeceased by parents, Pearce and Laura Rideout. Left with fond and loving
memories are wife, Joyce of thirty four years. Also leaving to mourn twin
sister, Jessie Smith Hayward of Grand Falls-Windsor and a large circle
of friends and relatives. Rev. Raymond Clouter conducted the funeral service
from the United Church, King's Point on June 26, 2005. Interment was at
the Interfaith Cemetery, King's Point. Pallbearers were Hedley Foster,
Guy Bartlett, Renold Clarke, Craig Toms, Wayne Pilgrim and Arch Newbury.
BURTON ANDREW EDWIN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Andrew Edwin
Burton announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre
Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. on June 27, 2005 at the age of 80. Andrew was
a member of the Salvation Army in Robert's Arm. Andrew retired from carpentry
in 1988. Predeceased by parents, brother, Warrick & Son Bruce. Left
