Coombs Amelia Dorothy (Mildred) (nee
Dicks)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amelia Coombs announce
her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home, Springdale on September
2, 2004at the age of 82. Amelia was a member of the Pentecostal Church,
Beachside. Predeceased by Husband George Coombs. Left with fond and loving memories
are sons Carl(Lillian), Coffee Cove, Charlie (Daisy), Beachside, Harvey, Beachside,
Ross (Betty), Beachside, Gilbert (Bonnie), Lloydminster, Sask. Lewis, Beachside.
Daughters Wavey Pelley (Melvin), Beachside, Shirley Norman (Malcolm), Beachside,
Maisie Coombs (Richard Power), Beachside. Also leaving to mourn Sisters Irene
Heath, Bessie Grant and Brothers Roy Dicks and Edward Dicks, 25 grandchildren
and a number of great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Pastor Clayton
Butt conducted the funeral services from the Pentecostal Church, Beachside on
September 5, 2004. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery,Beachside. Pallbearers
were Marvin Pelley, Grandson, Jody Pelley, Grandson, Bernard Pelley, Grandson,
Troy Coombs, Grandson, Kyle Coombs, great-grandson and Shane Coombs, great-grandson.
COLBOURNE, REBECCA (Aunt Becky)
On September 5, 2004, at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, Rebecca Colbourne (Aunt Becky) passed peacefully into the presence of her Savoir whom she served faithfully. Born on May 3, 1912 at Lushes Bight, Aunt Becky was a faithful member of the Robert's Arm Pentecostal Church and attended her last service one week before her passing. She resided at Robert's Arm Manor for Seniors where she will be sadly missed for her caring spirit and cheerful attitude. She will always be remembered by those who knew her for her ability to make one laugh. Husband William; son Henry and nephew Lawrence (raised as a son) predeceased Aunt Becky. Left to mourn are children Dorothy Parsons (Duncan), Springdale, Gilbert Colbourne (Marjorie), Robert's Arm, Marilyn Hewlett (Calvin), Robert's Arm and Fred Colbourne (Ruth), Robert's Arm. Also left to mourn are brother Henry Elms (Joan), Sherwsbury, England; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Wayne Noble conducted the funeral service at Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert's Arm with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert's Arm on September 8, 2004. Pallbearers were grandsons David Parsons, Duncan Parsons Jr., Danny Parsons, Boyce Hewlett and nephews Boyce Oake and Howard Elms.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gilbert Hubert Coombs announce his passing at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Edmonton, AB on September 8, 2004 at the age of 51 years. Gilbert had retired from Co-operative Market Place. Predeceased by parents George and Amelia Coombs and baby sister. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Bonnie; son Mason (Trina) Lloydminister, AB; daughter Ruby (Harold), Springdale. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren Cody, Keenan, Summer, MacKenzie and Brook-Lynn; Brothers Ross (Betty), Charlie (Daisy), Carl (Lillian), Harvey and Lewis; sisters Wavey(Melvin Pelley) Shirley (Malcolm Norman) and Maisie (Richard Power). Pastor Clayton Butt conducted the funeral service at Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery on September 15, 2004. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Rowena Newman announce
her passing at St. Clares Mercy Hospital, St. John's on September 11,
2004 at
the age of 86 years. Predeceased by husband Lloyd (1963) Infant son Donald and
Daughter Marina. Sister Ida Kelly, Brother John Dicks, Mother and Father Elias
and Susannah Dicks and son in law David McKeen. Left with fond and loving memories
are Sons Vince (Joan) of South Brook, Paul, South Brook and Scott, Ottawa,ON.

Church, South Brook on September 14, 2004. Interment at the Apostolic Faith Cemetery,South

26, 2004 at the age of 75 years. Donald retired from fishing. Predeceased

brothers Gordon, Thomas, Jack and Harvey. Left with fond and loving memories
