Bride lived in St. John`s, NF at 747 Water Street. After graduating from Our Lady of Mercy in 1925, she moved to New York to pursue a career in Nursing at French Hospital. Bride embraced life and enjoyed traveling. Helping to prepare a place on her journey to Heaven are her parents: James and Anastatia (Kavanagh); sisters: Agnes, Anne Parsons, Helen McGettigan, Kay, May Meaney, Sr. Margaret; brothers: Gus, Pat and Will. GIBBONS, Naboth - There passed away at New York on June 21^st, 1948, Naboth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Gibbons, leaving to mourn his wife, one son William, one brother, James at St. John's, four sisters, Mrs. Wilfred North of Halifax, Mrs. William Coats of Dartmouth, Mrs. Harry Hayward and Mrs. Douglad Duffett of Port Union, and a large circle of relatives and friends. The cause of his death was heart failure. He was all ready to come home by plane, had his clothes packed and tickets bought for the morrow's flight. He said "I will go down to the Union Hall to see Mr. Green and pay my dues and if I have any time left I will go to the park and have a row." He went out in the row boat and one of the policeman on shore noticed a man in a boat rowing with one oar. He turned his head a moment when someone yelled "man overboard." He jumped in his boat and quickly reached the spot. He had to dive eight times in order to find and recover the body. Artificial respiration was applied (sp) for 45 minutes, when the doctor pronounced him dead. The parents of the deceased wish to thank all kind friends who sent letters, telegrams and cards of sympathy to their house of sorrow in their sad bereavement.**

STAMP, Mary Violet - Passed peacefully away at her residence in Jamaica, New York on Sunday, September 20, 1998. Predeceased by her son James Stamp, her parents Alphonsus Stamp and Bridget Molloy (nee Gibbons), sister-in-law Margaret Molloy. Leaves to mourn three granddaughters: Linda Goodick, Shelbourne, N.S., Susan Entwistle, Stittsville, Ontario and Cindy Hendrix, Windston-Salem, NC; also her step-brother Lawrence Molloy, St. Shott`s, NF and his family; Bridget Morgan, Lucella Kennedy, Violet Molloy, Shirley Molloy, St. John`s, NF, Marion Corcoran, Riverhead, S.M.B., NF, Loyola, Barry and Rose Molloy, Toronto, Ont., Denise Molloy, Dartmouth, N.S. and Lawrence Molloy Jr., St. Shott`s, NF. Many other relatives and friends will treasure fond memories and mourn her passing, among them two very special friends Lewis Kastor and Evelyn Perpignand of New York City. A memorial service will be held in NY and funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, St. Shott`s with interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, St. Shott`s, NF. TUCKER, Wayne Douglas. 
On January 3, 2007, at Concordia Hospital (Winnipeg), Wayne Douglas Tucker, aged 57 years, beloved husband of Heidi, passed away.
Wayne was predeceased by his mother, Gertrude (Newell) in 1969; by his father, Gordon in 1985; and by his cousin and special friend Jimmy in 2002.  Besides his wife Heidi, he will also be lovingly remembered by, his stepson Brendan; his daughter Megan (Paul); his son Shane (Lindsay); his brother Robert (Charlie) and their children, Robert, Matthew (Michelle) and Shannon Lemire (Phil); his sister Sandra (Ron); and his brother Harold (Doreen) and their children Allison and Jenean.
Wayne was employed at Canada Post, retiring in 2004 after 34 years of service.  He was well known in the Transcona Community, having served as Hi Neighbor Sam, coach of the Transcona Nationals Football Club, coach of the East End Wings Soccer Club, Cub Scout Leader and a committee member of the Transcona Sports Weekend.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Transcona Branch Number 7.  Wayne loved to help anyone needing assistance.  He was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle, a true friend to all who loved him.  He will be especially remembered for coordinating and hosting the Melrose - Pandora backlane BBQ's.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr Harris and Wayne's "Angels" in Oncology, and all 3^rd Floor Staff and Dr Caners for all the special care extended to Wayne during his stay. Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2007, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy No. 1 E. At Navin Rd.  Interment of cremated remains will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
