NOLAN, John T.
Passed away after a lengthy illness at St. Clare's Hospital, John Nolan of Duntara, Bonavista Bay in his 75th year. Predeceased by his wife Catherine and son David. Leaving to mourn seven sons Brian (Geraldine), Lab City, Kevin (Lorraine), Duntara, Bonavista Bay, Ed (Patsy), Bonavista, Jack (Bonnie), Duntara, Bonavista Bay, Wayne (Mary), Holyrood, Jim (Donna), Torbay, Dave (Tina), St. John's; two daughters Eileen (Danny Kavanagh), Flat Rock, Joan (Chris Ricketts), Torbay; thirteen grandchildren Laurie, Brandon, Chris, Peggy, Kyle, Candice, Kyla, Jodi, Josh, Angela, Renee, Danny and Devon; one great grandchild Victoria; and close friend Rita Fitzgerald. Rested at the Community Centre, Duntara, Bonavista Bay. Interment at Roman Catholic Cemetery, King's Cove.

LAMBERT, Ebenezer (Naze)
Born on September 11, 1927 to Thomas and Emily Ann Lambert who at that time lived in Southport. Approximately 60 years ago the family moved to Hickman's Harbour where he met and married Susie Butt. Naze was predeceased by his wife Susie and son Garfield. Left to mourn are his children Elsie (Max), Bruce (Judy), Yvonne (Sherman), Navin (Beverly), Austin, Jerry (Gettina) and Pauline (Dean). Also left to mourn his is very good friend and companion Mereda, two brothers Cecil (Maggie) and Harvey (Alice), four sisters Mary, Susie, Cecilia and Blanche (Austin), sister-in-law Stella Lambert, two brothers-in-law Charlie and Harvey (Mary Butt), 24 grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

RODWAY, Cleverly
Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, December 1, 2000, Cleverly Rodway of Arnold's Cove, aged 88 years. Predeceased by his wife Marion and daughter Hilda. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters Nina (Fergus Marshall) and Ruby (Wilson Slade); son Norman (Edith), all of Arnold's Cove; sister Elizabeth Peach, Arnold's Cove; brother Victor (Maud), Deer Lake; half-sister Linda and friend Derek; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove. Funeral service was held Monday, December 4, 2000 from St. Michael's Anglican Church in interment at Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove. A memorial fund in his memory may be made to St. Michael's Anglican Church, Maintenance Fund, Arnold's Cove.

OLDFORD, Adelaide
Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, December 7, 2000, Adelaide Oldford of Musgravetown, aged 86 years. Predeceased by husband Lawrence, son William and sister Dora Rowe. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter Dora (Sam Legge), Jamestown; daughter-in-law June Oldford, Grand Falls-Windsor; sister Laura Barnthouse, Indiana; brother Alfred Blundon (Lillian), Millertown; four grandchildren Paul Legge, Tony Legge (Sharon), Traci (Geoff Crouse) and Heather Oldford (David Thorne); two great grandchildren David and Ryan Legge and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service held on Saturday, December 9, 2000 from Salvation Army Citadel, Musgravetown with interment at United Cemetery, Musgravetown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heritage United Church, Musgravetown.

ADAMS, Annie Marguerite
Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Tuesday, December 12, 2000, Annie Marguerite Adams of Milton, aged 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence and her son Wesley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter-in-law Iris Adams, Milton; sisters Evelyn Pelley (Lewis), Milton and Ella Cooper (Royal), Gander; brother Boyd Adams (Nelda), Milton; grandchildren Larry Adams, Lynette Penney (Greg) and LeeAnn Adams; great grandson Jacob Penney and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funerals service was held Friday, December 15, 2000 from Milton-George's Brook United Church with interment at Milton-George's Brook Cemetery. In her memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

HOLLOHAN, William Francis (Frank),
WW II Veteran (Forestry Unit)

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday December 12, 2000, Francis Hollohan of Summerville, Bonavista Bay, age 86 years. Predeceased by son Patrick. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife Daisy of 59 years, daughter Bridget (Dennis Murphy), daughter-in-law Pauline Hollohan, sons James (Daphne), Lou (Maxine) and Ben, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral was held Friday, December 15, 2000 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Summerville.

LANE, Anastasia
Passed peacefully away at Masonic Park Nursing Home, in the presence of her family, on December 12, 2000, Anastatia Lane Aged 84 years, 5 months. Formerly of Tickle Cove, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, November 4, 1993. Leaving to mourn six sons and two daughters, Thomas and Bridget of Open Hall, James and Ellen, William and Frances, Ronald and Barbara of Tickle Cove, Cyril, Charlie and Pauline of Ontario, Mary-Anne and Brendan Walsh of Mt. Pearl, Donna Barker of Ontario; one special granddaughter Robyn and Tony Keiley; 38 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; one brother Jim Fitzgerald. Rested at the Sacred Heart Church, Open Hall. As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to Barrett's Funeral Home and Ed Avery for his personal touch and compassion. Also special thanks to the management and staff of Masonic Park for the care received over the past two years and during her final days with them.

LOCKYER, Dorcas
Passed away suddenly at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, December 13, 2000, Dorcas Lockyer of Arnold's Cove, aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Gabriel, son Morgan and daughter Mondella. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter Sylvia Guy, Arnold's Cove; son Edward (Lorraine), Arnold's Cove; daughter-in-law Marie Lockyer, Fort McMurray, AB; sisters Mildred Ryan and Ann Williams, both of Arnold's Cove; brother Richard Slade (Effie), Arnold's Cove; sisters-in-law Lily Easton, Manuels and Effie Slade, Arnold's Cove; brother-in-law Dave Picco, Toronto; grandchildren Christine Best (Dwayne), Angie Guy, Robin Guy, Gabriel Lockyer, Todd Lockyer and Brad Lockyer (Stacey); great grandchildren Morgan Best, Austin Best and Morgan Lockyer and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove. Funeral was held Saturday, December 16, 2000 from St. Michael's Anglican Church, Arnold's Cove with interment at Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove. In her memory donations may be made to the Janeway Hospital.

NORTHOVER, Eric
Passed peacefully away after a brief illness, at his home in Shoal Harbour on Saturday, December 16, 2000, age 61 years. Leaving to mourn his wife of 36 years Boyna (Wiseman); children Karen, Susan (Darrell Bush), Douglas (Michele English),; granddaughter Claire; sister Mary (Howard Cole); special cousin Elizabeth (Harold Laite); and a large circle of relatives and friends. Remains rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 19, 2000 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Shoal Harbour Cemetery. In his memory donations may be made to the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment & Research Foundation or Clarenville High Scholarship Foundation.

PITCHER, Charles W.
Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, December 28, 2000, Charles W. Pitcher of Clarenville, aged 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Bertha of 59 years; sons Doug (Shirley), Clarenville and Dan (Lorene), Stayner, ON; four grandchildren Scott (Elaine), Todd (Angie), Tammy and Tina; five great grandchildren Bradley, Hillary, Samarra, Santana and Tessa and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Sunday, December 31, 2000 from Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment at United Church Cemetery, Clarenville. In his memory donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
