FOWLOW - Passed peacefully away at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital,
Clarenville on November 20, 2008 Robert Fowlow, age 83 years.
Predeceased by wife Leah, daughter-in-law, Mabel Fowlow and son-in-law,
Lemuel Anthony. Leaving to mourn three sons, Calvin (Audrey),
Ernest, Freeman (Doreen); three daughters, Ruby Cooper (Fred),
Gloria Noonan (Aidan) and Patsy Anthony; twelve grandchildren,
nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene, Janet, Lily, Elsie
and Frances, special cousin Marguerite and special friend Geraldine;
also a large circle of family and friends. Funeral services took
place Sunday November 23, 2008.
STAGG, Frances (Fannie) - Passed peacefully away surrounded
by family at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on November
11, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her parents Jacob
and Blanche Dalton, brothers Mark, Edward and Joseph, sister
Ethel Johnson, husband Augustus, sons Lloyd and Alonzo and daughter
Vera Dawe. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories five
sons, Cyril (Kathleen) Little Catalina, Ben, Bonavista, Melvin
(Loretta) Labrador City, Scott (Martha) St. John's, Harold (Christine)
Cambridge, three daughters Rachel (Tom), Bonavista, Shirley (Jim
deceased) Catalina, Marie (Jim) Labrador City, 24 grandchildren,
34 greatgrandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren as well
a large circle of relatives and friends, Rested at Strathie's
Funeral Home, Catalina. Funeral service took place at Calvary
Memorial United Church, Little Catalina on Friday November 14,
2008. Interment followed at the United Cemetery, Little Catalina.

November 28, 2008, Myra Stanley of Bloomfield formerly
of George's Brook in her 90th year. Leaving to mourn with fond
and loving memories son Sherman and wife Glenys of Petley; daughters:
Pearl Little of Bloomfield, Elaine and husband Jack Little of
Bloomfield, Verna and husband Lindsay Reid of Musgravetown; 13
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-greatgrandchildren;
sisters: Laura, Louie and Dulcie; sisters-in-law Maisy Ploughman
and Floss Ploughman. Plus a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Ross, parents Agnes and William Ploughman,
brothers: Everette and Hector, grandson Arthur and son-in-law
Donald Little. Funeral service was officiated by Pastors D. Newbury
and Pastor Earle on Monday December 1, 2008 with interment following
at Milton/George's Brook Interdenominational Cemetery. Pallbearers
were grandsons: Ray, Roger, Robert and Jason Little; granddaughters:
Brenda Penney and Nancy Strong. Funeral arrangements entrusted

November 26, 2008, Henry Goodyear of Monroe, aged 67 years. Predeceased
by parents Ernest and Frances Goodyear; sister, Edith Parsons
and mother-in-law and stepmother Marjorie Goodyear. Leaving to
mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mary of 45 years;
daughters, Debbie Blundon (Trevor), Vera Cross (Dave) and Charmaine
Goodyear; sons Delbert (Bev), Andy (Judy) and Jerry (Glenda);
sister Ivy Berkshire (Bruce) and Marion Stringer; brothers, Watson,
Steve (Dot), Cyril (Winnie), Jim (Velma), Ansel (Alma), Marvin

WWII Veteran) - Passed peacefully
away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday,
November 27, 2008, Douglas Ross Laite of Petley, aged 92 years.
Predeceased by his wife Alfreda; brothers Fred and Walt; sons
Lloyd and Boyce and grandson Merval Fry. Leaving to mourn with
fond and loving memories his daughter Berdina (late Doug Fry);
sons Sterling (Darlene), John (Jessie), David (Jane) and Glen
(Alvina); daughters-in-law Gloria and Helen; Jean Laite; sister
Annie (late Wallace Walters); brothers Max (Sylvia) and Charles

Mercy Home on Sunday, November 30, 2008, Gordon Elliott, age
76 of Jamestown, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by his parents Charles

and grandson Chad Wiseman. Left with fond and loving memories
