Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, January 29, 2017, Leo George Hoskins of Princeton, aged 65 years. Predeceased by grandson Brayden; parents Lester and Lillian; sisters Bernice Keats and Ina Harris; parents-in-law Chesley and Florence Quinton. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Judy of 41 years; daughter Shannon (Lino); son Brian (Sarah); granddaughter Brooke; grandson Connor; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at St. Peters Anglican Church, Princeton. Memorial service took place on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Princeton.

- Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, January 29, 2017, Moses Rodway of Clarenville, formerly of Kingwell, P. Bay, aged 80 years. Predeceased by parents John and Blanche Rodway; sister Virgina; brothers Clyde and Derrick. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Letha of 55 years; daughter Heather Clarke (Sandy), Shoal Harbour; son Tony Rodway, Shoal Harbour; grandchildren Adam (Sherisse), Stephanie (Adam), Andrew (Nicole), Bradley (Megan) and Brittany (Brandon); great grandchildren Kyle, Kadence, Kinley, Tanner, Nate and Alex; sisters Lillian Boutcher (Elwin), Come By Chance and Bertha King (George), Clarenville; and a large circle of family and friends, especially his work buddies from the Clarenville Council Outside Workers. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
Mose lived every day with a smile and a song
and brought much laughter to everyone around him.
His songs will keep his memory
dear to all who knew him

Alwin Clyde Green
- In his 91st year, on February 20th 2017. Clyde passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Clyde is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Emma and his daughter Kathy. Born and raised in Deep Bight, Newfoundland. Clyde worked for the Canadian National Railway for 40 years. He will be missed by Vincent, friends and neighbours.

Mathieu J. L. Gulliford

Passed away suddenly at the Royal Alexander Hospital, AB., on Sunday January 29, 2017, Mathieu Gulliford of Fort Saskatchewan, AB., formerly of Clarenville, NL aged 26 years. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Ashley Mulrooney, children Faith and Cheyenne, sister Cybel (Lascelles) Johnson and parents John and Barbara Gulliford. Memorial service was held February 6, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 27, Fort Saskatchewan. Interment will take place at Memorial United Church Cemetery, Clarenville, NL. at a later date. In his memory donations maybe made to a trust fund established for Faith and Cheyenne at any branch of Scotia Bank, Account number 30593 07325 24.

Cecil King

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O'Mahoney Manor on February 3, 2017. Cecil King of Shoal Harbour aged 73 years is predeceased by his parents Baxter and Irene King, parents in law William and Marion Butt, sister in law Flora (Ralph Gardner) and Margaret (Winston Ivany), brothers in law Edgar (Joan) Butt, Adam (Winnie) Butt, Allan Duffett and Lloyd Butt. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Barbara of nearly 50 years, sister in law Mary Duffett, Jessie (Clifford Cheater) and Eleanor Butt, Aunt Lillian Pelley and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Lady Cove United church from where services took place on Sunday February 5th, 2017 with interment at Lady Cove Cemetery.

Norman Leroy Hiscock
Passed on: February 3rd, 2017

Passed peacefully away on February 3, 2017, at Shirley's Haven Manor, Catalina, Norman Leroy Hiscock of Champney's West in his 91st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Sheila (George) Dewling, Madonna (Wayne) Swyer, Barbara and Pamela (Rick) Walters, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sisters: Kezia Locke, Doreen Janes, brother: Benjamin Hiscock (Elsie) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Pre-deceased by his wife Annie, mother Violet and father Norman, sister Frances and son in law Don Walters. Funeral service was be officiated by Rev. J. Nicholle from St. Clements Anglican Church Champney's West on Tuesday Feb. 7, 2017 with interment following at St. Clements Anglican Church Cemetery, Champney's West. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heritage House, Champney's West. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundons Funeral Home-Shoal Harbour.

Jean Palmer

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, January 30, 2017, Jean Palmer of Musgravetown, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband Llewellyn and son Nelson. Survived by sons John (Anne) St. John's, Harvey (Laura) Paradise; daughter Kay (Clyde Wiseman) Bloomfield; brother Harold Greening, Musgravetown; sister Daisy Ivany, Clarenville; sister-in-law Doris Greening; daughter-in-law Beverly Eluck; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge with interment at Jehovah Witness Cemetery, Musgravetown. This time was made easier by the love and support of our family and friends. We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to all who brought food , sent cards and flowers or phoned and visited. Thanks to the doctors and staff of Clarenville Hospital and Golden Heights Manor, Fewer's Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism. Special thanks to Wade Peddle for doing the service at the Kingdom Hall and Peter Eluck for doing the interment service.
Your thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered.

Left with fond and loving memories his wife Rose of 50 years; daughter-in-law Sheila; grandchildren Melanie, Shannon and Nick (Rochelle); brothers Mark (Laura), Llewellyn and Malcolm; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, Port Blandford. Funeral service took place on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, Port Blandford with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Port Blandford.

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Monday, February 6, 2017, Agnes Doupe of Clarenville, formerly of Placentia, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Staff Sergeant (Ret'd) Edward Doupe; sister Betty Spurvey; parents Frank and Annie Walsh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Duane (Marina), Carmel (Heber), John (Paula), Bill (Cher) and Kelly (Stephanie); grandchildren Kearston, Marissa, Leah, Andrew, Skylar, Joel, Tristan, Adian, Reagan, Evelyn and Benjamin; sister Rose (James) and Kathleen; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel with interment to take place at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery at a later date. In her memory donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 12, 2017, Lavina Brown, aged 96 years of Lethbridge. Predeceased by her husband Lyman; son Robert; grandson Michael; great grandson Stephen; brothers Jack, Sylvester, Roy, Robert; sisters Nellie, Annabelle and Linda. Left with fond and loving memories are her children Berith, Frank (Meta), Oliver (Marilyn), Randolph (Carol), Jean (Claude), Beverley (Peter) and Terrance (Charlene); 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sisters Doris, Charlotte, Gertie; brother Joseph (Margaret) and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service was held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from the Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Musgravetown. In her memory donations may be made to the Heritage United Church, Musgravetown.

Passed away suddenly at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, February 13, 2016 Gord Skiffington, aged 70 years of Musgravetown. Predeceased by his parents Samuel & Violet; sister Annie Oliver; brother Dorman Hancock. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Alma of 47 years; children Amanda (Gord), Gordon (Mark), Terrance (Mary), Janice (Troy); five grandchildren Emily, Alex, Claire, Terri-Lynn, Alyssa; sister Ella; brothers Herbert (Shirley), Roland (Inez), Abe (Daphne); brother in law Walter and a large circle of Family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service was held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from the Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment at the United Cemetery, Musgravetown.
