CYRIL WILBERT FUDGE
Dec. 25, 1947 - Feb. 28, 2009

Passed peacefully away on Feb. 28, 2009, Cyril Wilbert Fudge of Wooddale. He was 61 years of age. Mr.Fudge was owner/operator of Rolling Acres Farm and Central Vegetable Products Ltd. Predeceased by his parents-in-law, Harry and Maude Coffin; brother, Lewis Fudge. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Georgina; sons, Kent (Kimberley), Northern Arm, Kristopher (Stephanie Keats), Wooddale; one granddaughter, Alexis. Also leaving to mourn are his parents, Maxwell and Amelia Fudge; sisters, Eileen (Guy Sabourin), Juanita (Dan Hillier), Loretta (Brian Curlew); brothers, Wilson (Loretta), Lionel (Carol); sisters-in-law, Francis (Harry Snow), Ethel (Roy Harvey), Mary (Woodrow Seymour), Ruth (Cecil Hart), Margaret (Gus) Keough; brother-in-law, Alfred Coffin and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Don and Karen Feltham conducted funeral services at The Salvation Army Citadel, Bishop's Falls on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Interment was at The Salvation Army Cemetary, Bishop's Falls. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Bishop's Falls. Pallbearers were his nephews, Robert Fudge, Keith Hart, Seoffrey Keough, Jim Snow, Harold Snow and Angus Curlew.

MYLES, Randall - Passed away suddenly at Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, February 26, 2009, Randall Myles of Bunyan's Cove, aged 62 years. Predeceased by parents Warren and Lilly Myles; daughter, Brenda and father-in-law, Theophilus Powell. Left with fond and loving memories his wife, Laura of 42 years; sister, Rosie Tucker (Bruce), Bunyan's Cove; mother-in-law, Ida Powell, Charlottetown; sisters-in-law, Joyce Yetman (Roy), Gloria Murphy (Garland), Bernice Chatman (Ron), all of Charlottetown; brother-in-law, Medley Powell (Patsy), Charlottetown; nieces and nephews, Jodi Symes (Glen), Charlene Hann (John), Marsha Tucker, Natasha Penney (Todd), Fallen (Craig Stringer), Ryan Murphy (Melanie), Sheldon Chatman (Santanna), Shannon Chatman, Channing Powell and Mitchell Powell; great-nieces and nephews, Olivia, Alex, Mason, Hannah and Laura and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Salvation Army Citadel, Musgravetown. STANLEY, Jessie - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, February 22, 2009, Jessie Stanley of George's Brook, aged 83 years. Predeceased by three sons. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Myrel of 62 years; daughters Minnie Russell (Gary), Brooklyn and Lori Adams (James), Red Deer, AB; sons Loyal Ivany (Francis), George's Brook, Carter Stanley (Marion), Ontario, Leonard Stanley (Maggie), Red Deer, AB, Bruce Stanley (Daphne), North West Brook, Wesley Stanley (Patsy), George's Brook, Boyd Stanley (Elizabeth), George's Brook, Lloyd Stanley, St. John's and Roger Stanley (Elizabeth), Red Deer, AB; sisters Bessie Bailey, Harcourt and Vercie Baker, Random Island; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lethbridge with interment at Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Lethbridge. GOSSE, Mabel - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, February 21, 2009, Mabel Gosse of Queen's Cove, aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents Tom and Lizzie Robbins; brothers, Wilbert and Ray Bobbins. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Halstead of 60 years; daughters Linda Davis (Robert), Dianne Raymond (Dennis), Judy Ellis and Donna Barr (Robert); sons, Wayne (Marina) and Jamie (Mel); sisters Nellie Tucker and Marje Tamo (Spiro); ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at United Church, Queen's Cove. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from United Church, Queen's Cove with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Queen's Cove. AVERY, Bessie -- Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, March 5, 2009, Bessie Avery of Clarenville, aged 100 years. Predeceased by her husband, Edwin and daughter, Phyllis Avery. Left with fond and loving memories her daughter, Blanche Eddy (Clarence) of North Harbour and Yvonne Avery of Clarenville; sons, Gordon (Grace), Toronto, ON and Eleazer (Myra), North West Brook; sister, Edna Spurrell, Clarenville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.

BANNISTER, Garland - Passed away suddenly at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, March 2, 2009, Garland Bannister of Port Rexton, aged 71 years. Predeceased by parents, Robert and Mary Julia Bannister. Left with fond and loving memories his wife, Euphima of 46 years; son, Tony of Markham, ON; daughters, Karen (Terry Lochhead) of Woodbridge, ON and Julia of Toronto, ON; grandson, Will; sister, Sadie Butler (Purcell, deceased), Cookstown, ON; brothers, Robert (Lillian), Corner Brook and Ray (Marguerite), Kingston, ON and a circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Port Rexton. Funeral service took place on Friday, March 6, 2009 from the Anglican Church, Port Rexton with cremation to follow. RUSSELL, Alexander Maxwell - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, March 1, 2009, Maxwell Russell of Portland in his 89th year. GROVES, MILDRED - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 7, 2009 after a brief illness Mildred Groves, age 87 years. Leaving to mourn sister, Myrtle Groves; brother-in-law, Everett Ledrew; niece, Donna Hunt; nephews, John, Brian, Carl, Doug, Chris Ledrew and families. Cremation has taken place at Mildred's request. Memorial service at Bonavista to be announced at a later date. Donations in her name can be made to the Janeway Hospital.

VARDY, Bertha Jane - Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Friday, March 13, 2009, Bertha Jane Vardy (nee Adey) of Clarenville, aged 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Frederick in 1980. Leaving to mourn one sister Myra King, Hickman's Harbour and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville from where the funeral took place on Monday, March 16, 2009. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Clarenville. Predeceased by parents, George and Drucella Day, brother, Harvey Day, sisters, Gwen Way, Hazel Frampton and stepsister, Joan Oak. Left to mourn with many fond and loving memories are his wife, Priscella of 49 years; sons, Richard, Douglas (Donna), Randy (Michelle), Michael (Cindy); daughters, Ella (Terry) Parsons, Jacqueline (Calvin) Sceviour, Hazel (Duane) Parrott and Marilyn (Aubrey) Parrott; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Myrtle Penner and Joyce Keats; stepsister, Daphne Mills; sister-in-law, Margaret Day; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. KEOUGH, Augustine Edmund
(Jan 8, 1966-March 15, 2009)

Passed away suddenly at his home in Cambridge, Ontario. Predeceased by his grandparents and his two cousins, Scott Humby and Francis Ayles. Left to mourn are his wife, Martha (Hall), the apple of their father's eye; his two amazing children, Samantha and Braeden; his mother, Catherine Keough of Summerville, his sisters, Lorraine, Patricia, and Josephine; his brothers, Michael, Lyndon, Colin and their spouses, seven nephews, four nieces, mother- and father-in-law, Rona and Alphonsus Hall; brothers-in-law, Alphonsus, Malcolm, Marty and Ashley; sisters-in-law, Dale, Barbara, Debbie, Veronica, Diane, Lorraine, Lisa and eight nieces and nephews, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends he has made over his lifetime.
Always loved and will never be forgotten

ROSE, Garry - With great sadness we announce the passing of Garry Rose, after a valiant struggle with brain cancer, on March 15, 2009 at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Hughes); his sisters, Madonna (Elridge) of Swift Current, NL, Brenda (John) of Sudbury, Dianne (Jack) of Mt. Forest, Cindy (Lou) of White Court Alberta; brothers, Craig of Mt. Forest, Bruce (Arlene), Bill (Holly), Todd (Natalie) and Shawn of Edmonton, and many nieces and nephews who brightened his life. Predeceased by his brother, Mike Jr. and his parents, Mike and Eileen Rose of Arnold's Cove Station, NL. Garry was blessed with a multitude of devoted friends and family. He was a member of the Operative Plasterers Union for 30 years and worked in the fireproof ing and plastering trade. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends were asked to gather for a Celebration of His Life at 2 p.m. at the Forest Legion on Saturday, March 21, 2009. Donations are asked to remember CCAC Bayshore Nursing, War Amp Champs. "As much as we all loved him, it is not half as much as we will miss him."
