Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on April 18, 2003, Cecil, a longtime employee of the Canadian National Telegraph (CNT). Left to mourn wife, Olive of 55 years; four sons, Marvin (Shirley) at Bonavista, Boyd (Sandra) at Charlottetown, PEI, Hayward (Blanche) at Newman's Cove and Paul at Newman's Cove; four grandchildren, Tina (Brian), Barbara (Dennis), Jeanette (Jason) and Tracy; four great­grandchildren; sisters, Millie (Lloyd), Rita (Frank) and Verna; brother, Raymond (Sadie); and a large circle of friends.
