Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, September 22, 2013, Hayward Seward of Clarenville, aged 91 years. Predeceased by brothers Simeon, Eric Chesley and Edmond; sister Elsie; his parents William Thomas and Clementine. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Lizzie of 61 years; daughters Gloria (Ross), Clarenville, Glenis (Marshall) of Kincardine, ON and Tina (Terry), Fort McMurray, AB; sons Eric (Pearl) and Lloyd (Juanita), both of Shoal Harbour; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters Emily Jane Smith, Clarenville, Olga Blanche Butler, St. John's and Lydia Green, Hickman's Harbour; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.

Herber Peach
Passed on: October 4th, 2013

Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor, Placentia on Friday, October 4th, 2013, Heber Peach of Arnold's Cove, aged 77 years. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Elsie Peach; sister, Mabel Cochrane and his brother, James Peach. Left with fond memories are his children; daughters Denise and Deanna Peach; sons Dwayne (Stephanie) and Dennis; one granddaughter (Erica); sisters Rita Slade (Roland), Susie Boutcher (Gordon) and Mona McCarn; brothers Otto (Rowena), Frank (Jessie), Fred (Ann), and Calvin; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 at St. Michaels All Angels Anglican Church, Arnold's Cove with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove. Tracy Pearl Walsh (nee Quinton)
Passed on: September 29th, 2013

It is with saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of a dear daughter, sister, wife and mother, Tracy Pearl Walsh nee Quinton at the age of 39 years from Plate Cove West at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on September 29, 2013. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories are her husband, David; son, Quinton; parents, Edmund and Cecilia ; brother, Sheldon (Melinda); nieces, Hayley and Lexie; nephews, Blake and Jaxson; father and mother-in-law, Aloysius and Jocelyn Walsh; brother-in-law, Craig (Charlene); aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, George and Eliza Jane Penney; wife, Lydia; son-in-law, Martin Locke; sister, Mary Bailey and brother, Chesley. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Julia; granddaughter, Sherry; grandson, Shawn (Heather); great grandchildren, Jessica, Anthony, Andrew, Shawna; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband - Captain Leaman Eveleigh; son - Stan Eveleigh; parents - Wilson & Elsie Pardy; siblings - Stanley Pardy and Earl Pardy; parents-in-law - Herbert & Mae Eveleigh; siblings-in-law - Woodrow Wells, Edward Eveleigh, Hedley Eveleigh, and Eleanor Eveleigh; special nephew - Earl Gavin. Left with loving and everlasting memories are her daughters - Major Wavey Chaulk (David), Lethbridge, NL, Linda Humby (Melvin), and Judy Eveleigh, both of Musgravetown, NL; grandchildren - Sarah Templeman (Michael), Morley's Siding, NL, Jonathan Chaulk (Gina Quinlan), and Caitlin Humby, both of St. John's, NL; siblings - Florence Wells, Calvin Pardy, Albert Pardy (Patricia), Shirley Pardy, Eileen Power (Johnny), Nellie Osbourne (Joe), Maxine Pardy, Millicent Giles (George), and Madeline Howitt (James); siblings-in-law - Jessie Pardy, Minnie Nash (Walter), Edna Maclean (Al), Albert Eveleigh (Marion), Jessie Musseau (Alec), Melvina Eveleigh, and Shirley Eveleigh; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, October 5, 2013, Edward Doupe of Clarenville, aged 78 years. Predeceased by parents Bill and Mary Doupe; brother Ernie Doupe. Leaving to mourn his wife Agnes; children Duane (Marina), Pasadena, Carmel (Heber Smith), Clarenville, John (Paula), Innisfil, ON, Bill (Cher), Ottawa, ON and Kelly (Stephanie), Barrie, ON; grandchildren Leah, Joel, Kearston, Andrew, Syklar, Marissa, Evelyn and Benjamin; step-grandchildren Triston, Aidan and Reagan; brothers Don (Adele), Winnipeg, MB and Clifford (Brenda), Creston, BC; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation held at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima, Roman Catholic Church, Clarenville. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Ed to his son Duane who is currently undergoing radiation treatment for cancer.

Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex in the presence of her loving family on October 19, 2013, Dorothy Drodge of Little Hearts Ease aged 84 and 10 Months. Predeceased by husband Bramwell Drodge , parents Simon and Beatrice Stringer and infant brother William Thomas. Left with fond and loving memories her children; Donald (Beverly), Mildred (Wilfred), Louise (Gary), Roderick ( Nancy), Edison ( Darlene) and Eldon (Yvonne). Grandchildren; Andrea (Cory), Trent ( Judy), Toby (Shelly), Tracy (Jayme), Ryan (Suzanne), Brant ( Jenelle), Mitchell ( Lisa), Julia (Rodney), Soibhan ( Tracy), Megan, Daniel. Great Grandchildren; Jesse, Vikki, Cody, Jacob, Zachary, Katie, Sarah, Emily and Cayden. Sister Gloria Squires (Raymond, deceased). Sisters-in-law; Melvie Drodge, Audrey Drodge, Louise Rodrique, Christine Burton and Carol Williams (Walter); two Special Cousins; Armine and Barry Stringer, and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Funeral Service took place on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the Little Hearts Ease United Church with interment at Little Hearts Ease United Church Cemetery. Left with fond and loving memories his children; Linda Pardy (Herb) of Port Blandford, Jim (Sammi) of Kitchener, Ontario, Eileen Normore (Llew) of Port Blandford, Gordon (Colleen) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Wayne of Montreal, Quebec, Rose Penney (Dennis) of Canning's Cove, Beverley Penney (Albert) of Canning's Cove, Mary Osmond (Owen) of Monton, New Bruinswick and Wilson (Linda) of Port Blandford; 24 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, Port Blandford. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from St. Aidan's Anglican Church with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Port Blandford. Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O'Mahony Manor, Clarenville. Predeceased by parents, Levi and Mary Frost and brother, David. Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, Ontario on Monday, October 21, 2013. Jessie (Sharp) (Chard) Fisher of Dorchester, Ontario (formerly of Newfoundland) in her 86th year. Left to mourn her passing is her husband Fred and predeceased by her first husband the late William Chard (1986). Dear mother of Sylvia Alcock (Eric) of Paradise, Newfoundland, Diane Phillips (Bob) of Sarnia, Ontario and Glen Chard (Mildred) of Dorchester, Ontario and step mother of Lorie Nelson and Barbara Clattenburge. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Special friend of Gladys Peddle. Predeceased by her parents the late Sophie and Heber Sharp and by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends were received at the Salvation Army Westminster Corps, 1190 Southdale Road E., London on Saturday, October 26, 2013 (1 hour prior to service - 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.) where the funeral service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery.
