ANTLE, Joseph
Suddenly as a result of a drowning on Sunday, July 1, 2007, of Joseph Antle of Souris, aged 61 years. Loving brother of Madonna of Newfoundland and Labrador and dear cousin of Dominick (Theresa) Antle of Chepstow; Leonard (Michelle); Jamie (Helen) and Dominick Jr. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris, for visiting hours on Wednesday evening 6-9 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral to be held Thursday morning from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. AUCOIN, Isabel (Belle) P.
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, May 7, 2007, of Isabel (Belle) P. Aucoin (nee Power) of Summerside, age 93 years. Belle was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, on February 3, 1914, to her parents, the late Thomas and Mary (nee Patterson) Power. Beloved wife of the late Albin Aucoin. Loving mother of Barbara Wood of Charlottetown and Betty (Jim) Schisler of Saskatoon, Sask. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Ted (Dana) Schisler and Jennifer (Jim) Hudson and her great-grandchildren, Evan and Cole Schisler and Victoria Hudson, all of Saskatchewan. Besides her parents, Belle was predeceased by her son-in-law, Douglas Wood, and her brothers, Kit, Ray, Tommy, Bill and Gus Power. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Belle's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. CARROLL, Angus Claude "Angie"
Suddenly at the QEH on Friday, September 14, 2007, of Mr. Angus C. "Angie" Carroll of Charlottetown, age 71 years. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Currie) Carroll. Dear father of Pam (Jackie) Matheson, Sandra (Wayne) Jay, Dunstan (Genetta), Tony (Wanda), Mary Beth (Martin) Keyzlar, Joey (Deanna). Also survived by 15 loving grandchildren: Lance and Betty Matheson; Isaac, Samuel and Jesse Jay; Matthew, Brett and Ryley Carroll; Michael and Broeghan Carroll; Benjamin and Simon Keyzlar; Belinda, J.P. and Ryan Carroll; and one great-grandson, Shannon MacDonald; sisters and brother, Mary (Wilbur) McInnis, June Leitch, Shirley Dillon, Virginia Carroll, Tim (Kathy) and Eileen Carroll; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant son, Claude Joseph; parents, Claude and Mary (nee Dooley) Carroll and his brother, Richard "Dick". Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Monday 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. For those older folks like myself, who can remember, Angie Carroll played Senior Hockey in Newfoundland, back around the early/mid 60's. Not sure who he played with, but believe it may have been Grand Falls or Gander.

O'NEILL, Kevin John
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, August 20, 2007, of Kevin John O'Neill of Charlottetown and formerly of Newfoundland, age 85 years. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Howley). Loving father of Denis, Elizabeth (Bill Wiggins), Mary (Mel Delano) and Barb. Brother of Gerald of St. John's, Newfoundland. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary and brothers, Cyril and Charles. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 1:45 p.m., then to the Church of The Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. SAUNDERS, Muriel Irene
1924-2007

On September 1, 2007, Muriel Irene (Hynes) Saunders, aged 83, passed away peacefully at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre in Ottawa, with her son David by her side. Born in Change Islands, Newfoundland, Muriel was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rita (Bown) Hynes and was a 39-year resident of Moncton. Beloved wife of the late Isaac (Ike) Belbin Saunders. Dear mother of David (Wendy) Saunders, Carolyn (Bob) Bateman and Brian (Cathi) Saunders. Nana will also be remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Erin, Robbie, Heather, Scott, Adam, Brendan and Dawn, as well as her great-grandchildren, Mara, Mateo and Tia. Muriel is also survived by her sister, Clarice (Hynes) Watton, sister-in-law Elsie (Saunders) Thornhill and brother-in-law Hedley Saunders as well as many nephews and nieces. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 6, at 1 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church, 101 Fairview Dr. at St. George Boulevard, Moncton. A reception for friends and family will follow the service at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
