Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 Mary Theresa Antle of Burin in her 72nd year. Predeceased by husband Lester and granddaughter Yvonne. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons John (Mabel) of Burin, Gerry (Sarah) of Goose Bay, Labrador, daughters Anna Brown of Burin, Brenda White )Leonard Rennie) of Marystown, Patricia Bennett of Port au Bras, Jessie (John Nolan) of St. John's, Janice (Dwayne Brushett) of Burin; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Bride Ryan, Meline Bennett (Edward) Nora Murdock (John), Agnes French, Julie Philips (Bill); brothers Patrick (Sarah) Brake and Raymond (Mildred) Brake plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Charlie Kelly officiated funeral mass on January 31, 2005 from St. Patrick's Church, Burin with interment following at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fox Cove. Pallbearers were John Antle, Lester Antle, Dwayne Antle, Jerry Antle, Ken Antle and John Antle. Cross Bearer was Mary Lynn Brown. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. BOLT, William Edward
Passed away suddenly in his home community, William Edward Bold of Grand Le Pierre. He was 53 years old. Predeceased by mother Elizabeth, children Liticha and Catherine, brother-in-law Randell Barnes. Left to mourn are wife Cindy, son Ashley (Gail) of Fortune, and daughter Alicia of Bay Roberts. Also leaving to mourn are sister Eliza (Samuel Fizzard) and Emily Pearl Kearley; brothers Willoughby (Elizabeth) Bolt and Charles Bolt (Linda Carry); grandchild Jordan, eight nephews and seven nieces and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Charlie Harris conducted the funeral services at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Grand Le Pierre, Tuesday, March 1 with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Grand Le Pierre. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of White Dove Funeral Homes, Marystown. Pallbearers were Dwayne Kearley, Richard Harris, Glen Bolt, Lawrence Bolt, Leroy Bolt and Frank Stone.

Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Monday, February 28, 2005, Annie M. Bradley of Grand Bank, age 87 years. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Tryphena Bradley, brother Max and special friends Frederick Rogers and Glenda Wilson. Left to mourn are stepchildren Georgie Grandy (husband Winston) of Grand Bank, Emma Scott (husband George) at Beulah, Colorado, Sam Rogers (wife Helen) and Tom Rogers (wife Lily), both at Grand Bank, all their families and a large number of other relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Home, Grand Bank, Julia Brinton of Marystown. She was 89 years old. Predeceased by husband Michael, brother Edward, Tom, Samuel and Richard Rideout. Aunt Julia leaves to mourn brother Martin Rideout of Toronto, a large circle of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Bridget Mary Mitchell of Terrenceville. She was 89 years old. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Mary McCarthy, husband Michael, grandson Ralph Coombs, granddaughter Triffena Coombs, sisters Julia Mitchell and Irene McCarthy. Left to mourn are daughters Marie (husband Ralph Coombs), Selina (husband William Mitchell) and Alice Mitchell, all of Terrenceville. Also leaving to mourn are sisters Alice Coombs and Jean Lavhey of Terrenceville; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Left to mourn are husband George, four daughters; Irene Piercey (George) at Fortune, Joan Miller (Clarence) at Port Saunders, Frances Moulton (Jerry) at Winterland, Georgie Loveless (Harold) at Grand Bank, three sons; Eli, wife (Gwen) at Grand Bank, Kelt, wife (Christine) at Creston North, Gordon, wife (Judy) at Grand Bank, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law; Vera Moulton at New Brunswick, Annie Large at Dartmouth, N.S., nephew Morgan Handrigan at Grand Bank; nieces Shirley Mavin (Don) at Fortune, Lillian Williams at Dartmouth, N.S., also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Majors Frank and Rita Pittman, assisted by Pastor Reg Moulton, and Captain Beverley Dart-Stokes on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army, Grand Bank. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Duet by Pastor Laun and Kathy Brushett. Soloists were Pastor Lori Moulton and Irene Piercey. Tribute by grandson Trevor Pardy and granddaughter Delores Russell. Music was provided by the Salvation Army Band. Pallbearers were: Trevor Pardy, Tim Pardy, Kevin Pardy, Corey Pardy, Wade Peach, Jason Saunders, John Dan McNeil and David Noteworthy. Matthew was Chief Petty Officer First Class with 290 Sir Humphrey Gilbert Sea Cadet Corps, Fortune; a Sail Instructor at the Burin Sail Centre, a server at All Saints Anglican Church, active in sports, drama and French clubs and cross country. Predeceased by grandfather Allan Barnes. Left to mourn are parents Shelly and Stanley Symes, brother Bradley, grandparents Stand and Miriam Symes, Charles and grandmother Dorothy Rogers. Also leaving to mourn are a large nubmer of other relatives and friends. Reverend Jim Pollard conducted funeral service at All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune Tuesday, January 25 with interment at the Anglican Cemetery.
