BROCKERVILLE, Alfreda Helena
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alfreda Helena Brockerville (Nee Jarvis) on January 23, 2006, in her 50th year, a dear wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was predeceased by her father David Jarvis and her brothers Julian, Mike and Brian. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband John, her cherished son Adam, and her dear mother Margaret; sisters Marguerite (Tom O'Driscoll) of Bay Bull's, Marion (Majella Aylward) of King's Cove, Theresa (Jack Browne) of Marystown, Pauline (Wade Edwards) of Happy valley, Labrador and Sharon (Jim Clifford) of Ferryland; brothers Randy (Theresa) of Sheshatshiu, and Mario of Lewin's Cove; also, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a large circle of friends. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Funeral Mass was conducted at Holy Name Of Jesus in Lawn by Father Frank Puddister on Friday, February 3, 2006. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lawn. Pallbearers were Nick Brockerville, Allan Brockerville, Guy Brockerville, Fred Jarvis, Mario Jarvis and Jack Browne. Crossbearer was Marguerite O'Driscoll. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of White Dove Funeral Home in Marystown.

CHEESEMAN, Reginald
June 2, 1931 - January 25, 2006

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on January 25, 2006, Reginald Cheeseman of Burin aged 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Ella; son Lewis of Bridgetown, NS; daughter Nancy and her husband John Chan of Winnipeg, Man.; grandchildren Chris, Nick, Daniel, Michael and Sarah; sister Eleanor and husband Wes Stoyles; brothers Gordon and wife Vida, Frank and wife Joan and Harvey plus a large circle of other family and friends. Rev. Berdina Ford officiated funeral on Saturday, January 28th with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point. Pallbearers were Ralph Mayo, Edgar Fancey, Giles Pike, Tom Lambert, Cyril Dodge and Clarence Mitchell. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. "WE Care."

CLARKE, Frank Frederick
Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook on January 29, 2006, Frank Frederick Clarke of Baine Harbour in his 80th year. Predeceased by wife Bertha, parents Annie and Edward; sister, Ida Harris and brother Charlie Clarke. Leaving to mourn sons: Frank Jr. (wife Pam) of Alberta; Edward (wife Donna) of Fort MacMurray; daughters: June (husband Max White) of Pasadena; Evelyn McTaggart of Toronto; sisters: Stella at Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank and Mabel & husband Bill Bickford at Bell Island; five grandchildren: Eddie, Sharon, Neil, Jennifer & Tina; one great-grandson Matthew. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Charlie Harris at St. Mark's Anglican church in Baine Harbour, on February 2nd at 10:30 am. Interment was at St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery in Baine Harbour. Donations to his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Pallbearers were: Edward Whittle, Reginald Keating, Frank Murphy, Peter Jones, Max White and Harvey Reid. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Geoff Lomond of Peninsula Funeral home, Ltd., Creston South.

Funeral Mass was officiated by Father Frank Puddister from St. Patrick's Parish Church, Burin on January 25th with interment following at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fox Cove. FARRELL, Cyril P.
Passed away at the Miller Centre in St. John's, January 20, 2006, Cyril P. Farrell of Little Bay in his 78th years. Predeceased by wife, Elizabeth. Laving to mourn sons Allan (Joanna) of St. John's, Rodney (Denise) of Ottawa, Ontario, Wayne (Tina) of Fredericton, New Brunswick and Todd of St. John's; brother Fergus (Levina) of Spanish Room; sisters Clotida Murphy and Florence Farrell, both of Little Bay; sisters-in-law Susan Farrell and Hannah Farrell, also of Little Bay; grandchildren Caitlin and Joshua plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Frank Puddister conducted funeral mass at Sacred Heart roman Catholic in Marystown Tuesday, January 24th with interment in the R.C. Cemetery in Little Bay. Predeceased by first husband Levi Bungay and second husband Alpheheus May. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Music was provided by Tom Cumben. Passed away peacefully at the Burin Health Care Centre January 22, 2006, Donald McCarthy of St. Bernard's-Jacques Fontaine, in his 50th year. Predeceased by father Hughie. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Rosella, sons Chuck in Halifax, Donny and Jonathan in Paradise; daughter Jennifer in St. Bernard's-Jacques Fontaine; mother Violet, who resides at the Green Slades Nursing Home in Foxtrap; seven sisters; four brothers and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Jeff Kolonel conducted funeral mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard's-Jacques Fontaine Thursday, January 26th with interment in Roman Catholic Cemetery there. Funeral services were conducted by Mr. Oscar Elms at Wesley United Church in Red Harbour, on January 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was at United Church Cemetery in Red Harbour. Predeceased by: mother and father Annie and Morgan Tapper; husband Freeman and brothers Morgan and Stephen Tapper.
