Randell, Henry George - Passed peacefully away on March 4, 2000 at the Helat Sciences Center in St. John's, Henry George Randell, age 85 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Lila Marion; son Ronald, wife Nancy (Wabush); two grandsons: Rodney and Christopher, Windsor, Ontraio; three brothers: Elihu, wife Beulah, abe, wife Collette, Harold, wife Diane; sister Mary; sisters-in-law: Peggy Randell and Kay Locke; a great number of nieces and nephews and many relative and friends. Interment took place at Mb>Port Rexton on March 7. He was a member of the L.O.L., R.B.P. and Royal Canadian Legion.

REGULAR, John Wm. - Passed away suddenly February 21, 2000, John Regular, aged 63 years. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn. Leaving to mourn four sons: Stanley (Alice), Gary (fiancee Carol), Paul (Karen), Harvey (Sherri); and three daughters: Clarissa (Wayne), Lana (Andy) and Wendy; his eight special grandchildren: Justin, Mark, Colin, Ryan, Devon, Dillon, Janine and Celina; brother Arch; sister Annie; and sister-in-law Susie; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at St. Mary`s Anglican Church in Heart`s Content. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. "GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN."

REID, Cleophas (Coby) Sr. - Passed away suddenly on Monday, August 14, 2000 at the Dr. W.H. Newhook Community Health Centre, Whitbourne in the presence of his loving family, Cleophas Reid of Chapel Arm, age 77 years. Predeceased by his two sons Donald and James and daughter Jane. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Josephine; seven sons: Jerry (Janice), Edgar (Cindy), Cleophas Jr. (Sarah), Gordon (Theresa), Timothy (Donna), Otto and David (Yvette); two daughters: Ivy (Austin) and Phyllis (Paul); daughter-in-law Elizabeth Pretty; also lovingly remembered by twenty-four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother Gordon (Sarah); one sister Mary (Bill), a number of other relatives and many friends. Resting at St. John the Baptist Church, Chapel Arm from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to the Children`s Wish Foundation. God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be, He put His arm around you, And whispered, "Come to me." REID, Ella (Hefford) - Passed away suddenly at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on January 2, 2000, Ella Reid (Hefford) of Shoal Harbour, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her son-in-law Roy Tiller, 1989. Left with fond and loving memories, her husband Charlie Reid; two daughters: Marjorie Tiller, St. John`s, Barbara Vardy (Oliver), Shoal Harbour; son Rayfield Reid (Jean), Shoal Harbour; seven grandchildren: Gary, Jeff, Robert, Andy, Shawn, Beverly, Trudy; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Alice Smith, Apsey Brook, Molly Reid, Buchans, Gladys Hefford, Edmonton, Alberta; special care giver Sheila Long, Lady Cove, Random Island; and a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer`s Funeral Home, Clarenville until 12:00 noon on Wednesday; then to Central United Church, Random Island for Funeral at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2000 with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Weybridge. In her memory there is a Memorial Fund to Central United Church, Random Island.

REID, Jemima - Barr`d Islands, Fogo Island. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jemima Reid announces her passing at Fogo Island Cottage Hospital on Friday, March 31, 2000, in her 87th year, 11 months. She will be sadly missed by her son Howard (Marion), Clarenville, daughter June (Richard), Lewisporte, Anne (Wesley), Corner Brook; special grandson David (Lydia), Barr`d Islands; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; a large circle of relatives and friends. Her husband Emmanuel predeceased her in 1983. Funeral Service was at Central Island United Church on April 3, 2000 by clergy, Mrs. Ruby Feltham and Rev. (Canon) Howard Hynes (grandson). Reading by Kaylene Sheppard (great-granddaughter) with interment at the United Church Cemetery, Barr`d Islands, Joe Batts Arm.

Leaving to mourn loving husband, James, of 47 years; sons: Cleophas (Georgina), Rick (Beatrice), Chance Cove, Gerald, Toronto; daughter Joan (Joshua), Alberta; two brothers: Anthony (Shirley), Chance Cove, Stewart (Sandy), Toronto; grandchildren: Jackie (Dougie), Natasha, Ricky, Crystal, Janine and Kristine; one great-grandchild Cody; a large number of other relatives and many friends. Also leaving to mourn loving mother Jean Best; also sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the 4th floor Hospital staff at the Health Sciences Center. Resting at Faith United Church, Thornlea. RICHARDS, Superintendent Roy C. (Retired) - Passed away at the Moncton Hospital, January 5, 2000. He was born in Port Union, Nfld. Predeceased by his parents George Richards & Ettie Batten of Bay Roberts, Nfld. Retired from the RCMP after 35 years of service, he was employed with The National Parole Board for five years, then was employed with The Moncton Police Force from where he retired in July of 1995 as The Deputy Chief ³Civilian Status². He was a member of the St. Johns United Church where he was an Elder. He was also a member of The Charlie Angels Round Dance Group, Member of the Newfoundland Rangers Association. He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend Trudy (Kean) Richards. He was the loving and devoted father of one daughter Lori Richards of Mount St. Vincent University, Halifax, N.S.; one son Geoffrey Richards of Soeul, South Korea; one sister Barbara (Howard) Moore of Whitby, Ont.; one brother Howard (Rita) Richards of Gander, Nfld.; several nieces and nephews. By request there will not be any visiting hours at the Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be held from St. Johns United Church, 75 Alma St., Moncton, N.B. on Sunday, January 9, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Following the service the family invite you to join them for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Church Hall. Interment to take place in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Indoor Cemetery for Cremated Remains. Presided over by Rev. George Barrett. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family. ROBSON, Frances (nee Butt) - Passed away suddenly on November 24th, 2000 at her sisters residence, at North West Brook, Trinity Bay, Frances Robson. Age 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Hugh on Oct. 1, 2000, parents, brother Eldred and sisters Florence and Emma. Leaving to mourn two sons Gordon and Paul; two daughters Barbara Hogan (Gerald) and Kathy Hurley (Bill); six grandchildren Steven and Nicole Robson, Shawn Robson, David and Glen Hogan and Victoria Hurley; sister Elvie; brothers Valance (Yvonne), Claude (Betty), Gordon (Flo) and Art (Glad); also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday. Leaving to mourn their sad loss, his wife and best friend of 45 years, Irene, beloved children Michael (Judi), Brian, Kevin, Terry (Sandy), Carol (Rod), Maureen (Roger), Ann (Mike), Pat and Billy; grandchildren Julia, Peter, Helen, Adam and Kyle; dear brother Arthur (Joan), sister Lily (David), brothers-in-law Fergus (Betty), Harold (Lillian), Dick (Mary) and Jerry (Lorna), sisters-in-law Edna (Bren), Sr. Michelle Gibbons and Bridget (Bill), as well as a large circle of close relatives and friends, including Peg St. Croix, Dolores Doody, Bill and Betty Hayter.
