Florida, Mary Philomenia Kavanagh formerly of Bell Island & St. John`s.
Predeceased by Clifford Cantwell 1995. Leaving to mourn her husband Angelo Joseph
Camardo, South Pasadena, Florida, her son Wayne (Patricia) Cantwell, St. John`s,
daughters: Sharon (Carlson) Driscoll, St. John`s & Carla (Garry) Thoms,
Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, Florida. A Memorial Service will be arranged in

Toronto on December 24, 1999, age 72 years, formerly of Bell Island. Leaving
to mourn five sisters: Bride Noftal (Roy), Kingston, Ontario, Marjorie O`Mara
(Frank), Huntsville, Ontario, Shirley Seward, B.C., Dorothy, Mount Pearl, Cecila,
Mount Pearl; two brothers: Fred and Samuel, both at Mount Pearl. Cremation took

Michael`s Church, Bell Island on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at 11:30 a.m. Interment

- Passed away in his 54th year at the Leonard A. Miller Centre in St. John`s
on April 6, 2000, after a long and courageous battle with the devastation of
Type I diabetes, Jim (Ralph James) Dawe. Predeceased by his father, Maxwell
Dawe, and baby son, Jason. He will be sadly missed as a gentle, loving and considerate
husband, by his wife, Doris Collins-Dawe; as a loving father and grandfather
by his daughters, Gillian Dawe and granddaughter Sarah, and Andrea Janes (Chris)
and granddaughter Hilary; by Doris` two daughters, Yvette Moore and Wendy Moore,
whom he helped raise and treated as his own; by his mother Minnie Dawe (Eddie);
his sisters Grace Crosbie (Bill), Linda Murphy (Mike), and Marcella Paynter
(John) and their families; by special cousins Lorraine Morgan (Dave), Seal Cove
and Mary McKinley (Phil), New Hampshire and their families; by brother-in-law
Thomas Collins (Theresa), Placentia; and sister-in-law Mary Walsh (Fred), Torbay,
and their families; and by friends and relatives in Canada and the U.S. Special
mention to Lorne and Gert King for their continued friendship and support. Jim
left work on disability in 1993 and was eligible to retire after thirty years
as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Memorial University, where
he touched the lives of and was well liked and respected by numerous young people
as they prepared to start their careers in the world of computer science. Jim
was, at different periods of his life, an active member of the Lions Clubs of
Mount Pearl, Pouch Cove (thanks to Clayton and Evelyn King for helping make
us welcome when we lived in Pouch Cove), and Conception Bay South. He was also
a member of several professional organizations, including DPMA and DECUS, and
was always ready and anxious to join in and take the lead whenever the opportunity

- (Born January 14, 1933). Passed peacefully away at St. Phillips, NF., on April
20, 2000, at 3:30 a.m., following a courageous fight for several years with
kidney disease. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Rose Laurie (nee Ryan);
sisters Annie Laurie and Mary Cole. He leaves to mourn after him his daughter
Rose Mary Noftall; two grandchildren: Stephanie and Brendan; four brothers:
Edward, Herbert, James and Gerald (Dorothy); one sister Bride Carroll (Bernard),
many nephews and nieces including special nephew Thomas Cole; cousins and other

parents John and Elsie Sharpe; brother Harvey Sharpe; and first husband Derek
H. Snow. She leaves to mourn her devoted and loving husband David Rouse. The
light and pride of her life, her children: Carl Snow (Cathy), Greg Snow (girlfriend
Janice Pike and her children, Tiffany and Jesse). Loving grandmother to Derek
Edward Snow. Dear sister of Leo Sharpe (predeceased by Ethel), Victor Sharpe
(Olive), Jean Tucker (Austin), Gerald Sharpe (Doreen), Ven. John T. Sharpe (Cynthia),
Hilda Clarke (Les Squires), Raymond (Alice), Edward (Jill); sister-in-law Mary
Sharpe Tucker; brother-in-law Darrell Rouse (Brenda Peddle); many dear nieces,

as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast`s
