(Carl), Topsail, Tina Salabarto, Ont.; nine sons: Lloyd (Margaret), Bell Island,
Colin (Meeson), Cyril (Patricia), Alex (Lynn), Karl (Kimberly), Ralph (Suzanna),
Terry (Carla), David (Debbie), all at Ontario, Allen at home; two sisters: Carrie
Rees, Edith Clements; 30 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; as well
as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast`s Funeral Home. Funeral
Services on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at 11 a.m. in St. Cyprians Anglican Church.

FEWER, Mary T. (nee Sceviour) - 1907-2001.
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health
Sciences Centre on April 12, 2001, Mary T. Fewer in her
94th year. Predeceased by her husbands, Nicholas McGrath (1951), Peter
Lyons (1963), and Bernard Fewer (1996), her son-in-law John J. Corbett
(2001), and great-grandson Corey Doran (1994), and two great-granddaughters,
Peggy and Hilda McGrath, six brothers: Jack, Bill, Frank, Charles, Tom
and Joe, and one sister Sarah. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories
are six children: Mary Corbett, Chapel`s Cove; Raymond McGrath (Margaret),
Avondale; Loretta Johnson, Arkansas; Joe McGrath, Manuels; Ann Ghaney,
Avondale; and Geraldine Lewis (Charles), Colliers with whom she resided;
seven step-children: Marion, Ellen, Patricia, Patrick and Peter Lyons,
and Elizabeth and Bernard Fewer; her 40 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren,
and six great-great-grandchildren. Also three sisters-in-law, Margaret
Doyle, Louise O`Flaherty, and Katie Hennessey, all of Avondale, and special
friend Marion Lewis of Chapel`s Cove, as well as a large circle of other
relatives and friends. Resting at Dunphy`s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation
from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday and from 2-10 p.m. on Easter Sunday.
Funeral will take place on Monday, April 16, 2001 following 10:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial from Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Harbour Main.
Interment will be in the family plot at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.

JOHNSON, Winnie
- Formerly of Bell Island. Passed away at Golden Years Nursing Home in Cambridge,
Ontario on Friday, March 30, 2001 in her 89th year. Winnie will be sadly missed
and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews;
especially the Corbett family, formerly of Bell Island, now living in Ontario.
Predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial was
celebrated on Tuesday, April 3 from St. Clement`s R.C. Church, Cambridge. Interment
at St. Mary`s Cemetery, Cambridge.

April 2nd, 2001 William P. Kennedy, Conception Harbour. Age 69 years. Leaving to mourn

by his son Paul, April 14, 1989. Leaving to mourn his wife Pearl (nee Collins);
children: Gordon (Brenda), Blair (Karen), Linda (Cathy Gaulton), Ruby Haynes
(Kevin), Bruce (Renee); grandchildren: Kelly, Kristopher, Mark, Darrell, Corey

mourn, three sons, Jim (Ruby), Jerry (Liz) and Jeff (Connie); eight grandchildren,
Sherry (Ken Power), Rudel, Kelly, Karen, Justin, Krista, Johnathan and Patrick;
three great-grandchildren, Jessica and Brandon Vey, and Alyssa Randell; very

his parents James and Mary Reid. Lovingly remembered by sister Helen
Connors (Hugh, deceased), St. John`s and brother William (Carrie), Grand
Falls, and their families; as well as family and many friends in Ontario,
Alberta, British Columbia and Newfoundland; especially his friends:
Pam Maher, Betty Saunders, Gus Connors and Margaret "Peg" Connors.
