ADEY - Stephanie is thrilled to announce she is a big sister. NOAH GREGORY JAMES was born at the Women`s Health Centre February 12, 2002, weighing 9 lbs., 4 ozs. Sharing in Stephanie`s excitement are mommy & daddy (Kathy & Jeff), special big brother Brian, Nana Penwell, Nanny & Poppy Adey and Great Nanny Adey. Our thanks to Dr. Jennifer Stender for her prenatal care and Dr. Kum for his prenatal care and the safe delivery of our precious angel. Thanks also to the caseroom staff, especially Michelle Randell and the staff of 5NB for their care and support.
Mommy & Daddy would like to say a special thank you to Nana Penwell and Nanny & Poppy Adey for their help on the home front while mommy was in hospital. Mommy would like to say a huge thank you to daddy for his love and support. We love you daddy. Now our family is complete.

HURLEY- A son! Jonah Francis Hurley arrived at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia on February 5, 2002 weighing 4082 grams. There to greet him, along with mom Judy (Dwyer) and dad Mark were Grandma Bernadette Dwyer and Aunt Betty Coady all the way from Marystown, NF! Joining them shortly after was Poppy Dennis Dwyer with lots of treats from the Newfoundland contingent. Jonah is also the first grandchild for Nana Betty Hurley in Dapto, Australia. We are sure that Poppy Bill was watching over the safe arrival from the stars. Another great-grandchild for Maria Dwyer of Bell Island.
Along with all the family and friends who have been so kind, first time uncles Daryl Hurley, John, Jeff and Jerry Dwyer, and Great Uncle Allan are happy to welcome a new "hockey hopeful". (We don`t know where we`re going to find ice in Australia!) Jonah, Mommy & Daddy were sad to see the Newfoundlanders leave but are looking forward to seeing everybody there when we visit in August.

ROBERTS - Tracey and Heather (nee King) are delighted to announce the birth of their handsome baby boy, Kyle Daniel James. Kyle arrived at 10:09 a.m. on February 24, 2002 at the WHC in St. John`s, weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. He is the first grandchild for proud grandparents Bernard and Ann King of Norman`s Cove and first grandson for Elmo and Madonna Roberts of Quirpon. Proud uncles are Blair and Dominic, Aunt Jackie and cousins Brittany and Courtney. Special great-grandmothers are Dorcas Smith and Carmel Bartlett. Thank-you to Dr. Heidi Kravitz, Dr. Lavall and nurse Lavinia for their expertise and exceptional care.
A special thanks to Lori, Leah, Darryl, Jennifer, Chris and especially Daddy for all their love and support during mommy`s pregnancy and my delivery.

SNOW - Peter and Debbie (nee O`Leary) are delighted to announce the birth of their long awaited miracle, Rachel Anne, on February 11th, 2002 at 7:13 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 8 oz. At first sight, our precious little treasure has captured the hearts of proud parents, family and friends. Smiling from above, Rachel`s guardian angel, grandmother Florence Snow. "He who set the stars in space, came by this way today, He left a tiny bundle within our hearts to stay." Mommy, Daddy & Mittens thank God for giving them such a special treasure to love and care for - our house is now a home. A huge thank you to Dr. O`Grady and Heather Rees, R.N. for their excellent prenatal care and support. Thank you also to Drs. Marais, Peacock, Lui, and the 5th floor nursing staff at Carbonear General Hospital.

Dean and Beverly (Russell) are overjoyed to announce the birth of their first child, a precious baby girl, Jordan Alicia, February 27, 2002, at 12:20 p.m., at the HSC, weighing 7 lbs. 15½ ozs. Proud first-time grandparents are Carl and Margaret Sullivan and second-time grandparents Herman and Rita Russell. Katherine Sullivan, Mary Russell and Mary Barnes are delighted with the safe arrival of their great-granddaughter. Best wishes also from Aunt Heather and Uncle Rob Brown and Cousin Kaitlyn in Alberta and Uncle Derek and Aunt Donna Sullivan and Aunt Robyn Sullivan and boyfriend Lenny in St. John`s.

Proud grandparents are Ethel Frampton and Jim Sullivan. Watching down over Robert are his special angels, Poppy Maxwell Frampton and Nanny Margaret Sullivan. We would like to thank Drs. Noble, Pike, Pugh and Bartellas, nurses Margaret Ann Dooling, Denise Wadden and Sheila Brushett. Your care was nothing but the best.

TAYLOR - Stephen and Natasha Taylor are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Magnus Karl Kent Taylor, born February 27, 2002, 6:15 p.m. in Toronto, Ontario. His Icelandic name was chosen to honor his late grandmother, Sigrid Anna Stephenson (Taylor) who is sadly missed everyday. Proud grandparents Kent Taylor, Karl Misik and Karen Misik, aunts and uncles Andy and Erin Taylor, Henry Taylor and Monique Montgomery, Tina and Allison Lenehan, Heidi Misik and Kurt Misik. Magnus is very excited to meet all of his friends and relatives in Vancouver, Montreal and Knowlton, Quebec, Woodstock, New Brunswick, Halifax and St. John`s, Nfld.
